摘要： A puzzle book having a front cover, a back cover, a plurality of pages disposed between the front and back covers, and a puzzle disposed on the exterior side of the front cover. The puzzle is composed of a plurality of interlocking puzzle pieces which are disposed in a cavity formed in the exterior side of the front cover. Each of the puzzle pieces has a portion of a printed image formed thereon and a plurality of interlocking portions. The cavity in which the puzzle pieces are disposed may have a shape defined by an internal perimeter of a border area, and the border area may have a plurality of interlocking portions which mate with the interlocking portions of the puzzle pieces to help hold the puzzle pieces within the cavity when the front cover of the puzzle book is opened. The puzzle book may also be provided with a single sheet of transparent material which covers at least a portion of the puzzle and which is removable from the front cover. The transparent material may be a sleeve or band shrink-wrapped around the front cover or a rectangular sheet adhered to the front cover.

摘要： In order to enhance the effectiveness and efficiency of forming a groove in a board, an apparatus and method are disclosed. The apparatus includes a station for feeding the board from a supply of boards, a table for supporting the board upon receipt from the feeding station, a cutter for forming the groove while the board is supported by the table, and a station for removing the board after the groove has been formed. It is among the unique aspects of the disclosure that the table is moved relative to the cutter such that a grooved board can be removed from the table with the material defining the groove having been separated therefrom just after another board on the table has been grooved. The method includes the steps of feeding the board from a supply of boards at a feeding station, supporting the board after the board has been fed from the feeding station, forming the groove in the board while the board is being supported, and removing the board after forming the groove at a removing station. With the unique features of the disclosure, it is possible to cut a plurality of V-shaped grooves in a board of foam having a puzzle facing material thereon to form foldable corner pieces for a three-dimensional puzzle.

A pulp insert tray that includes a number of form fitting receiving locations to receive the individual pieces of the set separates and protects the individual pieces from damage resulting from uncontained packaging. A retainer may be used in association with the insert tray to provide additional support of the individual pieces, and assist in the final assembly of the packaged set. 摘要： A children's wagon comprising a wagon body, a bottom wall, and front and rear bolsters secured to the bottom wall. The front bolster is pivotally secured to the bottom wall and a pin is associated with the bottom wall and is adapted to extend downwardly therefrom to interfere with the front bolster movement to thereby minimize the possibility of tipping of the wagon. The pin is adapted to be moved upwardly out of interfering position whereby the front bolster can be moved 180° in either direction to thereby place the wagon in more convenient positions for transportation and storage. The front and rear bolsters are each provided with shock absorbers positioned above the front and rear axles adjacent each of the wagon wheels. Slotted vertically extending extensions on each side of each bolster receive the wagon axles and provide for vertical movement of the bolsters relative to the axles. The bolsters move in opposition to springs which are located in surrounding relationship with the respective slotted extensions. A bellows is, in turn, positioned around each spring and upper and lower retainers are provided for engagement with the respective ends of the springs and bellows.

摘要： A toy vehicle and a handheld pneumatic launcher combination includes a piston and an elongated hollow cylinder with a flange adjacent one end of the cylinder providing grips for a child which simulate an airplane control yoke. While supporting lateral extensions of the flange with the fingers of each hand, the child's thumbs are free to press upon an actuator at one end of the piston forcing the piston head into the cylinder. Attached at the other end of the elongated cylinder, in pneumatic communication with the cylinder, is a launch tube that fits into a socket adjacent the bottom of a toy vehicle that is made predominantly of a lightweight plastic foam. The axis of the launch tube is preferably offset from the axis of the cylinder. In addition, the launch tube is tapered and has a closed end with perforations through the sidewalls of the tube adjacent the closed end.

摘要： A package, which can be substantially hexahedral, is composed of a flexible polymer material and contains a plurality of articles. The package includes a front face wall, a back face wall, a top wall, a bottom wall and two oppositely located end walls. A plurality of stacks of the articles are contained within the package, and the article stacks arranged to extend in a generally parallel, side-by-side configuration with each stack including a multiplicity of the articles. Each of the stacks is aligned along an appointed stacking direction of the package, and each of the stacks has opposed facing ends thereof contacting opposed walls of the package. A designated opening mechanism extends across a selected primary opening wall of the package and extends across at least a portion of each of a pair of oppositely located, complementary opening walls of the package. The opening mechanism provides for a selected separation of the primary and complementary opening walls, and is positioned at a location which may be substantially between a pair of separable immediately adjacent arrays of stacked articles, thereby providing for a separation of the package into at least a pair of subpackages, with each subpackage containing at least a portion of at least one article stack therein while exposing a side portion of the at least one article stack for grasping.

摘要： In order to enhance the enjoyment of assembling a puzzle of the three-dimensional type, a puzzle is disclosed in the form of a building-like structure having walls to be joined at corners thereof. The puzzle includes a plurality of wall pieces capable of interlocking in a plane to form walls of the building-like structure. It is also contemplated that each of the wall pieces will have peripheral male and female contours capable of interlocking engagement to form a portion of a wall. The puzzle further includes at least one corner piece capable of joining a pair of walls at a corner of the building-like structure. It is also contemplated that the corner piece will be formed so as to have a groove in a backing material opposite an image-bearing outer surface of the same types which are also to be used for each of the wall pieces. With this understanding of the components of the puzzle, the groove in the corner piece has a depth dimension sufficient for folding the corner piece to form a corner for the building-like jigsaw puzzle structure.
