摘要: A method for locating a catheter tip within a human body is disclosed. An audio sensor is positioned at a site on the human body. An audio signal is detected by the audio sensor, and transmitted to an audio signal processing unit. The audio signal processing unit determines if the audio signal corresponds to a target location of the catheter tip, and transmits a notification signal to a user notification unit. An infusion of fluid or an audio emitting element can be used to generate the audio signal at the catheter tip.

摘要: A suspension system including a front suspension plane located at an intermediate turboshaft engine casing and connecting same to a pylon, a rear suspension plane located at an exhaust casing of the turboshaft engine and connecting same to the pylon, and a failsafe intermediate suspension plane located between the front and rear planes and including at least one connecting rod connecting the turboshaft engine having a structural outer casing to the pylon, the connecting rod mounted on the turboshaft engine with a predetermined clearance that renders the connecting rod inoperable while the suspension system of the rear plane is operating. The connecting rod is advantageously arranged between the outer casing and the pylon, and an element made of a flexible material is combined with the connecting rod to create the predetermined clearance by an elastically deformable nature thereof.

摘要: Described herein is an improved mechanism for bridging between SAS and SATA drives based upon existing SAS expanders in a SAS domain. In particular, a bridge capable of translating between SAS and SATA protocols is embedded in or coupled to an expander. When a SAS initiator request is received at the expander, the expander can route the request, based on a routing table, either directly to a destination SAS device or to the bridge for necessary translation before it is transmitted to a destination SATA drive. The routing table includes corresponding relationships between all SAS addresses and Phys through which those SAS and SATA devices are attached to the expander. SATA devices can be virtualized in the expander through a few assigned addresses in the routing table in a SAS discovery process.

摘要: The present invention generally provides a polyaxial fixation device having a shank with a spherical head formed on a proximal end thereof, and a receiver member having an axial passage formed therein that is adapted to polyaxially seat the spherical head of the shank. The polyaxial bone screw further includes an engagement member that is adapted to provide sufficient friction between the spherical head and the receiver member to enable the shank to be maintained in a desired angular orientation before locking the spherical head within the receiver member.

摘要: A book with at least one first page and at least one second page, where the first page and second page are pivotably connected to one another at one end of each page. In some aspects, at least one pop-up assembly with a plurality of folds, which form a lifter segment, a support segment and at least two attachment tabs, have one of said attachment tabs attached to the first page and one of the attachment tabs attached to the second page in a manner that the pop-up assembly can be folded flat or extended varying degrees from the book depending on the orientation of the first page to the second page. At least one sleeve is attached to the lifter segment on the pop-up assembly, wherein the sleeve forms a pocket.
