摘要: A production method for a sintered part comprises preparing a metal powder and a binder composed of a thermoplastic resin and a wax, mixing the metal powder and 40 to 60 vol. % of the binder with respect to the metal powder into a mixed powder, and heating and kneading the mixed powder into a raw material. This production method further includes supplying a predetermined amount of the raw material in a hole of a die and compacting the raw material into a green compact having a predetermined shape by pressing the raw material by a punch. This production method further includes ejecting the green compact from the hole of the die, removing the binder from the ejected green compact by heating, and sintering the green compact by heating so as to diffusion bond particles of the green compact. The compacting is performed by pressing at a moving rate U of the punch, which is not more than a rate calculated from the following equation (1). In this case, ΔP (Pa) is pressing power of the punch, μ (Pa·s) is viscosity of the raw material, L (m) is a length of the green compact, and De (m) is a corresponding tube diameter. U=ΔP/(32μ×L)×De2   (1)

摘要: An ophthalmic treatment apparatus uses therapy and diagnostic laser light sources whose beams are deflected two-dimensionally via an optical deflector and a galvanomirror and directed on the eye fundus to produce a fundus image on a display monitor. A photosensitive substance that accumulates specifically in neovascular regions is administered to the patient to define the region where the neovascular tissues are located. When the region is to be treated, the therapy laser light source is activated and its intensity is amplified by a controller and a driver for driving a light modulator. This arrangement assures a reliable definition of the affected region and enables only the neovascular tissues to be destroyed or sealed off because the laser intensity can be amplified at the region concerned.

摘要: One unit of image/text information (a card) is formed from image information, which is for displaying respective ones of N--number of images, and text information, and a large number of cards are stored in a memory device to construct a data base. When search conditions such as a desired keyword or numerical range have been entered, at least one card which satisfies the search conditions is searched and retrieved from the data base by referring to the text information of each card. First images from each of the cards retrieved are reduced in size and then combined, the reduced and combined images obtained are displayed on a display device, and a desired item of image/text information is selected from the reduced and combined images.

摘要: A system for monitoring the frequency difference between pulse output signals derived from a pair of flowmeters interposed, respectively, in the inlet and outlet lines of a flow conduit supplying cooling water to the tuyere of a blast furnace, the frequency difference being indicative of water leakage. The pulse output signals produced by the respective flowmeters during each predetermined measuring period are integrated. The integrated values are compared with each other, the difference therebetween being monitored whereby when the difference exceeds a predetermined set value, an alarm is generated.

摘要: To provide an ultrasound diagnosis apparatus capable of appropriately assigning a transmission delay time of a group to a transducer without complicated wires. The ultrasound diagnosis apparatus of the embodiment comprises a plurality of transducers, a timing pulse generator, a switch part, and a switch controller. Ultrasound waves are transmitted to the transducers. The timing pulse generator has output terminals for outputting timing pulses based on a delay time to a channel corresponding to each of the transducers, in which a plurality of output terminals are divided into groups and each group has the output terminals of a specific number greater than two. The timing pulse generator then generates the transmission delay time within a predetermined time range for the each group. The switch part selectively connects the channels with the output terminals. The switch controller divides the plurality of channels into channel regions of the same number as the specific number, and controls the switch part so as to correspond between the groups and the regions by connecting the channels and the output terminals.

摘要: An ultrasound probe and ultrasonic diagnosis apparatus that can maintain surface temperature of an ultrasound probe within a safe range, without reduction in performance. The ultrasound probe includes a casing, a transducer, an electronic circuit, and a heat-transfer construction. Elements of the transducer are aligned at one end of the casing and send out ultrasound waves in accordance with their respective delay times. The electronic circuit, disposed in the casing, includes a delay circuit setting delay times and pulsers for generating pulses in accordance with the delay times, the pulses being sent to the transducer. While the electronic circuit is being energized, the heat-transfer construction disposes a member having a low heat conductivity at least either between the electronic circuit and the casing or between the electronic circuit and the transducer. Thereby, heat from the electronic circuit is conducted to the other end of the casing.
