Abstract:
This torque limiter is configured from a ring body and a spring-form part provided in the ring body. The ring body comprises a band-form metal plate and is bent approximately into a C-shape along the circumferential direction of a motor shaft and a lock holder. The spring-form part is formed so as to be capable of radial elastic deformation. The spring-form part is configured from main protrusions arranged in a compressed state between the motor shaft and the lock holder, and from sub-protrusions arranged in a non-compressed state. Further, grease is stored in a part or all of the concavities formed by the main protrusions and the sub-protrusions.

Abstract:
##STR1## (In the formulae, R 1 and R 2 , which may be the same or different, each represents hydrogen or lower alkyl.) The present invention relates to a process for producing 1,5-pentanediol derivatives represented by general formula (II) which comprises reacting 2-butenal derivatives represented by general formula (I) with formaldehyde, and hydrogenating the obtained mixture of reaction products.
Abstract:
A flexural mode quartz crystal vibrator formed from a quartz crystal plate having first and second opposed substantially planar surfaces, with a plurality of electrodes on both said surfaces is provided. The vibrator is characterized by the placement of electrodes on both of the opposed surfaces so that the electrodes on each surface do not overlap each other.
Abstract:
Provided is a process for producing alcohols or aldehydes by reacting monoolefins with carbon monoxide and hydrogen with less formation of by-products. The process comprises the step of reacting a monoolefin with carbon monoxide and hydrogen in the presence of a cobalt carbonyl catalyst until the conversion of monoolefin reaches 50-90% (the first reaction step), the step of separating unreacted monoolefin from the reaction mixture obtained in the first reaction step (the step of separation of unreacted monoolefin) and the step of reacting the separated unreacted monoolefin with carbon monoxide and hydrogen in the presence of a cobalt carbonyl catalyst (the second reaction step), wherein at least one of the first reaction step and the second reaction step is carried out in the presence of water.
Abstract:
Meshing surfaces are formed on the tooth surfaces of the teeth of a fixed side internally toothed gear, and positions of the meshing surfaces match with a track formed by addendum edges of teeth of a flexible externally toothed gear that moves with rotation of a wave generator. In the same manner, meshing surfaces are formed on the tooth surfaces of the teeth of a movable side internally toothed gear, and the positions of the meshing surfaces match the track formed by the addendum edges of the teeth of the flexible externally toothed gear that move with the rotation of the wave generator.
Abstract:
A flexural mode quartz crystal vibrator formed from a quartz crystal plate having first and second opposed substantially planar surfaces, with a plurality of electrodes on at least one side thereof, is provided. The vibrator is characterized by the placement of electrodes on at least one of the opposed surfaces of the quartz crystal plate, the placement of the electrodes providing a vibrator having a thickness of 0.5 mm or less.
