Abstract:
A centesis instrument, wherein a patient applies a contact part to a palm, a finger, or an arm in the state of gripping an outer tube by hand and presses the outer tube against its measured portion. A third coiled spring is compressed to increase spring power. When the outer tube reaches a prescribed position, the tip face of the vertical portion of a centesis button reaches a hole part, and a projected part is allowed to be pressed. When the patient presses a button body from a direction perpendicular to the axis of the button body by using a finger at that position, a locking piece is separated from a locking part and the centesis needle of a centesis needle unit is instantaneously projected from the opening part of the contact part to the measured portion by the spring power of the third coiled spring for centesis. Thus, a prescribed amount of blood can be taken out from the measured portion.
Abstract:
A blood glucose level measuring apparatus and measurement data management apparatus are provided which can carry out measurement of the blood glucose level of a plurality of patients relatively rapidly and reliably, while also addressing emergency situations. The blood glucose level measuring apparatus includes a patient identifier, blood glucose level measuring device, a date/time counter, a display, and a controller. The controller controls in a normal measurement mode the cross-checking of patient identification information and a patient data table, and then, if patient identification information is not found, measurement of the blood glucose level is inhibited. The controller also controls in an emergency measurement mode in which carrying out of measurement of the blood glucose level is permitted without acquiring the patient identification information by the patient identifier.
Abstract:
An automatic circuit element mounting apparatus includes a lead wire detection mechanism for detecting lead wires of a circuit element held on a mounting head by suction and a substrate mark detection mechanism for detecting a mounting reference mark of a printed circuit board on which the circuit element is mounted by means of the mounting head, so that the amount of movement of the mounting head may be corrected depending on a result of detection by each of the detection mechanisms to precisely mount the circuit element on the printed circuit board. Also, a method for mounting a circuit element on a printed circuit board is disclosed.
Abstract:
An image forming apparatus includes an apparatus body, a sheet feeder to load a roll body including a recording medium wound around, an image forming unit to form an image on the recording medium, and a conveyance unit including a conveyance belt to convey the recording medium drawn out from the roll body so as to oppose the recording medium to the image forming unit. The sheet feeder and the conveyance unit are integrated as a sheet feed conveyance unit. The sheet feed conveyance unit is configured to load the roll body in at least the sheet feeder and be drawable from the apparatus body to a position at which the conveyance belt is visible.

Abstract:
An electronic apparatus includes a switch having contacts spaced from each other. The contacts are designed to independently establish electric connection. A controller unit is designed to instruct the control on an image on the screen of a display panel in the electronic apparatus when the controller unit sequentially detects the electric connection at at least two of the contacts in a predetermined time period. A sequential detection of electric connection at the contacts within the predetermined time period is utilized to effect the control of the image in the electronic apparatus. Facilitated operations can be achieved to effect the control of the image on the screen. Conventional contacts can be utilized to establish electric connection. The control of the image can be accomplished with a simple structure.
Abstract:
An endoscope apparatus has an endoscope having an image guide (103) for guiding first and second image light components which have a parallax and can be separated from each other, a memory for storing a predetermined coefficient (a) on the basis of the shape, length, and the like of the image guide, and CCDs for converting the first and second image light components into first and second image signals (A, B). The apparatus performs image processing for generating first and second image data (L, R) by performing proportional distribution processing of the first and second image signals in accordance with the predetermined coefficient.
Abstract:
An image forming apparatus includes an image forming device, a conveyor, and a separation unit. The image forming device forms an image on a printing medium. The separation unit separates a printing medium from the belt. The separation unit includes a claw portion to contact the belt, and a first wing and a second wing disposed at both sides of the claw portion in a direction perpendicular to a conveyance direction of the printing medium. Each of the first wing and the second wing has a guide face to guide the printing medium. The guide face is a sloped face that slopes downward in a direction away from the claw portion with respect to the direction perpendicular to the conveyance direction of the printing medium. Each of the first wing and the second wing has an upstream end that recedes toward a downstream side in the conveyance direction.
Abstract:
A body fluid sampling unit includes a puncture device including a needle having a sharp needle point and a drive mechanism for operating the needle to puncture a living body surface with the needle point, a tip including an introducing section for introducing a body fluid flowing out from a puncture portion of the living body surface punctured with the needle point, a test paper for detecting a predetermined component in the body fluid, and a tip body mounted to a component measuring device for measuring the quantity and/or property of the predetermined component detected by the test paper; and a case including a mechanism containing section for containing the puncture mechanism so that the needle point of the puncture mechanism can be moved by the drive means, and a sampling implement containing section for containing the body fluid sampling implement so that the tip can be taken out.
Abstract:
The present invention is made to provide a safe and efficient blood glucose measuring device capable of collectively performing blood glucose measurement process and collectively performing insulin administration process on many patients, while ruling out the risk of misidentification and misprescription among the patients. When having read a patient ID with a patient ID reading section, a control section identifies a record of the patient of a measurement/administration results table. The control section does not perform blood glucose measurement on the patient of the identified record which shows that a blood glucose measurement flag is “true” and an insulin administration confirmation flag is “false”, and displays an insulin dosage on a display unit with respect to the patient by referring to a prescription information table based on the blood glucose level has been measured. The control section does not display the insulin dosage on the display unit again for the patient whose record is identified which shows that the insulin administration confirmation flag is “true”.
