    摘要: A broadcasting station apparatus includes a video editor and a TS encoder. The video editor produces a video signal by editing video of a TV program and video of a CM. When substantially the same scenes are arranged before and after the CM in the video signal produced in the video editor, the TS encoder manipulates predetermined data of a TS packet storing information of the same scene (overlap scene) after the CM. In a recording/reproducing apparatus, the TS packet storing the information of the overlap scene is sorted based on the data. The TS packet storing the information of the overlap scene is not decoded in time shift reproduction.

    摘要: In a recording and reproducing device, compressed 3D video image data recorded on an optical disc is reproduced by a recording and reproducing unit and decompressed to baseband 3D video image data by a codec. A format converting unit converts the recording format of the optical disc into the transmission format of HDMI in accordance with the display capability of the display device preliminarily acquired and outputs the resulting data. The format converting unit of the display device converts the transmission format of 3D video image data received through an HDMI cable into a display format. A display control unit displays 3D video image data converted into the display format on the display panel.

    摘要: A still picture transmission system has a transmitter and a receiver. The transmitter includes a still picture generator for generating video data of a plurality of still pictures, an entry number generator for generating an entry number for each still picture, and a picture information generator for generating a picture information to each still picture. A list data is generated containing the entry numbers and corresponding picture informations. An encoder encodes the video data with the entry number inserted in a predetermined position correspondingly to each still picture. A multiplexer multiplexes and transmits the encoded video signal with the list data. The receiver separates the encoded video signal and list data. The list data is displayed. Looking at the list data, a particular entry number is selected. A still picture with the particular entry number is extracted from the encoded video signal and displayed.
