摘要： The invention provides a coordinate input system, some embodiments having a first waveguide carrying stimulating light which is coupled by a force normal to the surface of the first waveguide into a second waveguide. In certain embodiments, the second waveguide contains photoluminescent material which upon receiving light from the first waveguide emits light which is detected by provided photosensors. Additionally, devices and methods for gaze tracking are provided having a probe element forming a probe image, an incident light sensing element for measuring the distribution of light incident at the location of the probe image, modulation and demodulation elements for distinguishing reflections of the probe image from extraneous light, and a comparison element for comparing the distribution of incident light to the probe image. The device is applicable to a gaze tracking apparatus which provides data useful in the field of user interfaces.

Preferred embodiments would be formed from silicone rubber to provide flexibility and grip around the cable tie and for thermal protection of the tie as well as cushioned protection of objects secured by the tie. The protective device adds grip to the cable tie as it secures an object, along with aesthetic enhancements through color options and a more finished look. In addition to protecting the cable tie from temperature, it is also protected from UV light, fungus, staining, and corrosion from exterior elements.

An array of function icons including multiple function icons representing respective types of media that can be played and an array of content icons including multiple content icons representing items of contents that can be played are displayed practically at the center of an on-screen menu such that the arrays intersect. A moving image icon, which is a function icon displayed in an area of intersection in which the array of function icons and the array of content icons intersect, is highlighted by a color different from that of the other function icons and by an enlarged view. In the array of content icons, the hierarchy of the contents is visually represented.

The system includes a main body part (10), an operating unit (20) on which the user acts for inputting for interfacing with the main body part, and a display part (30) for demonstrating an image consistent with the current state of an interface program and an application program. The operating unit includes an interfacing element (22) for accepting an inputting operation from the user and a piezo actuator (21) for presenting a tactile feedback to the user performing the inputting operation on the operating unit. The piezo actuator is mounted on the interfacing element.
