Abstract:
The invention relates to a method for compacting particulate material by compression. The invention especially relates to a method for compacting particulate material, including a compression compacting method for preparing units of particulate materials. Said particulate materials to be treated can comprise, but are not limited to, cement, calcium, gypsum, mortar, combinations thereof and the like, in order to improve the packaging, storage, transport, presentation, dosage and preparation thereof, thereby benefiting the manufacturer, the distributor and the consumer. The invention reveals the possibility of applying different pressures for the compression and shaping of the compacted product into different geometrical shapes, for the packaging, storage, transport, presentation, dosage, preparation and use thereof, from the opening of the packaging to the final application.
Abstract:
The present invention refers to a process for increasing the production of biomass and metabolites of microorganisms of Bacillus sp. species. Obtained metabolites are lipopeptide compounds of the fengycin, surfactin, and iturin families, which exhibit antimicrobial activity. The invention further includes biocidal compositions comprising Bacillus subtilis EA-CB 0015, Bacillus amyloliquefaciens EA-CB0959, and/or metabolites thereof, either alone or together with other biocidal agents, and the use of these compositions for the treatment of diseases caused by various phytopathogenic agents, including Mycosphaerella fijiensis, in a variety of crops.
Abstract:
The present invention refers to a process designed to increase the production of plant growth-promoting microorganisms of the Bacillus genus, using a culture medium poor in nutrients and with specific environmental conditions, allowing to obtain a greater amount of biomass and/or spores, which can be used to prepare solid or liquid compositions to be applied to plants, aiming to promote their growth and/or counteract the effect of phytopathogenic agents.
Abstract:
The present invention discloses a device for evaluating the technical condition of the tread of moving railway vehicles, especially for automated inspection of the loss of roundness of each wheel of circulating railway vehicles, in which a point of measurement is used which generates a signal proportional to rail deformation when a wheel arch passes over said point. Then the comparator system compares the measured signal with a wheel pattern without any roundness defects, which is then transmitted over a data network that associates the wheel identification information, with the wheel defect data generated by the comparator system each time the wheel passes over said measurement area.
Abstract:
The invention describes a process for obtaining clay having improved characteristics that comprises incorporating an inorganic matrix onto an organic matrix at determined proportions. The industrial clay obtained is malleable and highly resistant to compression and strain, of great use in the industry of prototype elaboration.
Abstract:
This invention relates to a device with function for measuring volumetric changes in a substance. In particular, the device with function for measuring volumetric changes in a substance comprises a sensor that detects the amount of light intensity produced by a light source aligned with said sensor when passing through a column of two liquids which are immiscible among each other contained in a transparent tube, wherein the sensor and the aligned light source are mounted on an arm that travels on a vertically arranged rail, wherein the arm is attached to a strap which acts by means of a first and a second pulley causing the movement of said arm, wherein the movement of said pulleys comes from a motor and a gearbox and the entire mobility system is mounted on a frame. The device further comprises data acquisition means which record the change of light intensity and control the arm movement.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to a covering with optoelectronic elements, which uses a cover to optimize light distribution to absorb or emit optical radiation. The cover diverts optical radiation originating from external optical sources or optoelectronic elements contained in the covering, to maximize the absorption or dispersion of the optical radiation. The optoelectronic elements absorb or emit optical radiation, which is used to generate photovoltaic energy by using photovoltaic cells or to measure radiation by means of sensors of ultraviolet, infrared or visible radiation, inter alia, or to emit optical radiation by means of light-emitting elements such as LEDs, lasers, incandescent bulbs, and fluorescent lamps, inter alia. The cover and the optoelectronic elements are supported by a base that contains securing elements.

Abstract:
The present invention relates to a method for obtaining nanoparticles of metal oxides dispersed in fibers comprising preparing a stable gel from nanoparticle precursors, immersing the fibers in the stable gel and subjecting them to a hydrothermal treatment until the fibers are coated with the nanoparticles in a homogeneous way. The obtained fibers are used in the degradation of organic pollutants.
