摘要： A battery system includes a battery and a battery protection apparatus. The battery protection apparatus protects the battery from over-discharge. The battery protection apparatus includes a voltage controlled switch, a start switch, and a voltage detecting unit. The voltage controlled switch establishes an electrical connection between the battery and the load. The start switch turns on the voltage controlled switch when actuated. The voltage detecting unit detects a battery voltage of the battery and generates a detecting voltage according to the battery voltage. The voltage controlled switch is turned off when the detecting voltage is lower than a predetermined value.

摘要： An audio and video (AV) apparatus includes a player module for playing audio and video files, generating audio and video signals, and an internal display and an internal speaker. The AV apparatus further includes: a first switch for generating first instructions; an output module for being externally connected to output the audio and video signals; and a control module connected to the first switch. The control module being configured for disabling the internal display and internal speaker at receiving the first instructions at a situation that the output module is externally connected to output the audio and video signals, and disabling the internal display while keeping the internal speaker enabled at receiving the first instruction at a situation that the output module is not externally connected. A method for controlling the audio and video apparatus is provided as well.

摘要： An electronic device includes a signal generator and a processing module. The signal generator generates reset signals to reset the processing module. The signal generator includes a first capacitor, a second capacitor, and a switching unit. The first capacitor receives an input voltage and charges accordingly when the electronic device is powered on. The second capacitor generates the reset signals based on the input voltage. The switching unit transmits the input voltage to the second capacitor to charge the second capacitor when the electronic device is powered on, and grounds the second capacitor after the electronic device is powered off. The reset signals are generated during the charging and discharging process of the second capacitor.
