摘要: An exemplary media player system includes a media player and an earphone. The earphone includes a first earpiece, a second earpiece, a primary volume control unit, and a secondary volume control unit. The first earpiece and the second earpiece are configured for receiving first channel audio signals and second channel audio signals respectively, and converting the audio signals to yield audible sounds. The primary volume control unit adjusts the volume levels of the first earpiece and the second earpiece simultaneously. The secondary volume control unit adjusts the volume of sounds outputted from one of the first earpiece and the second earpiece.

摘要: An air conditioning system providing cooled air to a vehicle includes a detection device, a control module, and an air adjusting module. The detection device determines whether another vehicle is in front of the vehicle within a predetermined distance, and sends a signal when the other vehicle is detected. The control module is coupled to the detection device and controls the air adjusting module to operate in a recirculation mode upon receiving the signal.

摘要: A battery system includes a battery and a battery protection apparatus. The battery protection apparatus protects the battery from over-discharge. The battery protection apparatus includes a voltage controlled switch, a start switch, and a voltage detecting unit. The voltage controlled switch establishes an electrical connection between the battery and the load. The start switch turns on the voltage controlled switch when actuated. The voltage detecting unit detects a battery voltage of the battery and generates a detecting voltage according to the battery voltage. The voltage controlled switch is turned off when the detecting voltage is lower than a predetermined value.

摘要: An electronic device includes a signal generator and a processing module. The signal generator generates reset signals to reset the processing module. The signal generator includes a first capacitor, a second capacitor, and a switching unit. The first capacitor receives an input voltage and charges accordingly when the electronic device is powered on. The second capacitor generates the reset signals based on the input voltage. The switching unit transmits the input voltage to the second capacitor to charge the second capacitor when the electronic device is powered on, and grounds the second capacitor after the electronic device is powered off. The reset signals are generated during the charging and discharging process of the second capacitor.

摘要: A portable electronic device includes an airbag, a gas-injection apparatus connecting with the airbag, a housing, a liquid detecting apparatus and a control apparatus. The gas-injection apparatus connected with the airbag is used for injecting gas into the airbag so that the airbag is in an inflated state. The housing with a receiving space is used for accommodating the airbag in a deflated state, and the airbag is capable of expanding out of the housing when changing from the deflated state to the inflated state. The liquid detecting apparatus is configured for detecting when the portable electronic device contacts liquid and generating a detecting signal. The control apparatus is configured for controlling the gas-injection apparatus to inject gas into the airbag upon receiving the detecting signal.
