    摘要: On each draft element of a ring spinning frame, two pieces of short-staple roving from the roving bobbin enter into the draft mechanism to be drafted though a guide funnel in parallel, two pieces of filament are fed from the back of the front roller, and combine with two pieces of roving at front jaw respectively. The drafted two pieces of roving and filament are output from the front jaw and enter into the twisting triangle area to be twisted, and then are wound onto a yarn bobbin to produce yarn. Based on the relative position of the two pieces of roving and two pieces of filament, different yarns can be produced. Furthermore, multi-component yarn, such as core structure, wrapped structure, strand-like structure, can be produced on a ring spinning frame. The structure of yarn can be precisely determined. Special fiber yarn can be produced on traditional spinning frame.

    摘要: A method of producing a high quality of yarn by an iron-heating apparatus, including the steps of: guiding a yarn to pass between upper and lower rollers, wherein the yarn is exited at a front nip in a twisting triangle area; guiding the yarn to enter to a groove of a heating main body of the iron-heating apparatus; heating the yarn along the groove to reduce a rigidity of the yarn so as to allow the yarn to be easily twisted to form an improved yarn with high quality; and enwrapping the improved yarn on a spun yarn tube. In addition, a counter frictional force is applied at the yarn through walls of the groove such that fiber on a surface of the yarn is further twisted to the yarn for minimizing hairiness.

    摘要: Moisture management indexes are determined for a textile sandwiched between two plates. Electrical conductors arranged in concentric opposing pairs are used to measure changes in electrical resistance of the fabric. A quantity of water (or other chosen liquid) is poured down a guide pipe and changes of resistance measured against time. From this data, specific indexes are determined, in a repeatable fashion, and used for determining moisture management characteristics of the fabric.

    摘要: An aerated swirling vertical shaft with double volute chambers comprises an upper volute chamber (2) and a first shrinking section (3) beneath the upper volute chamber (2), a venting passage (4) outside the upper volute chamber (2), a vertical shaft section (7) beneath the first shrinking section (3), as well as an aerated lower volute chamber (5) and a second shrinking section (6) communicated with the aerated lower volute chamber (5) between the first shrinking section (3) and the vertical shaft section (7), wherein the upper end of the aerated lower volute chamber (5) is connected with the first shrinking section (3), the lower end of the second shrinking section (6) is connected with the vertical shaft section (7); the upper end of the venting passage (4) is communicated with the atmosphere and the lower end is communicated with the aerated lower volute chamber (5). The water stream in the vertical shaft can be discharged smoothly and the wall surface of the vertical shaft may avoid being destroyed due to cavitation and cavitation erosion.

    摘要: A method of treating a fabric including cellulose fiber to increase water absorption and hydrophilicity by graft polymerisation. The method includes pre-treating the fabric in a solution of an inhibitor for about one hour, and washing the fabric to remove excess inhibitor solution. The fabric is placed in a grafting solution of a hydrophilic monomer for about three hours, washed in methanol, and decrystallized in a solution of zinc chloride for about one hour. The decrystallised fabric is then treated in a solution of sodium hydroxide at 50° C. for about one hour.
