摘要: A cylindrical net body using helical wire members that can be easily assembled and disassembled at a working site. The invention provides also a cylindrical net body using helical wire members that have high tenacity and high durability and yet can reduce the weight. Wire members having a predetermined outer diameter are wound in predetermined lead and predetermined pitch to provide helical wire members in such a fashion that a diameter of a helix is about twice the outer diameter of the wire members, crests and troughs have substantially a similar shape, and each trough is positioned outside the center of the helix. The helical wire members are wound into a coil shape to form transverse helical wire members. Longitudinal helical wire members formed of the helical wire members are united and fixed side by side with the transverse helical wire members, with predetermined gaps, to form a cylindrical net body.

摘要: This invention is directed to methods for the treatment of cellulose-containing fibers and yarn to provide protection to the cellulose from attack by enzymes. The method comprises the steps of exposing cellulose-containing fibers and yarn to an aqueous solution of an enzyme-repelling chemical to give the fibers or yarn a protective coating, and using the protectively coated fibers and yarn to prepare cloth or fabric. In another embodiment, the method of the invention comprises the step of exposing a fabric comprising cellulose-containing yarn to an aqueous solution of an enzyme-repelling chemical to give the fabric a protective coating. The invention also encompasses cellulose-containing fibers and yarn, including cotton, having a protective enzyme-repelling coating. The invention is further directed to denim fabric comprising cotton fill yarn having a protective enzyme-repelling coating. Such denim fabric, and any garments made therefrom, will exhibit greater strength and durability following the stonewashing procedure as compared to denim made from uncoated yarn.

摘要: A lining cloth of a woven fabric in which the warp yarn comprises either of polyester filamentary yarn or cellulosic filamentary yarn and the filling yarn comprises either a false-twisted polyester filamentary yarn, a raw filamentary yarn or a cellulosic filamentary yarn, characterized in that an elongation in the filling-wise direction of the woven fabric is in a range from 5% to 12%, a coefficient of dynamic friction on the surface of the woven fabric is in a range from 0.20 to 0.45, and a filling-wise crimp index value of the woven fabric as defined by the following formula (1) is in a range from 0.003 to 0.013: Crimp ratio of the filling yarn/{warp density×(warp fineness)1/2}  (1) The lining cloth according to the present invention is soft in touch, excellent in slipperiness, resistant to seam slippage and free from wearing pressure. The lining cloth is suitably used as a lining for a skirt which is otherwise liable to ride up. The lining cloth according to the present invention is produced by heat-treating a grey fabric woven from warp yarns of polyester filament or cellulosic filament and filling yarns of raw polyester filament at a temperature in a range from 160° C. to 210° C. prior to or after the scouring while being narrowed in width by 5 to 30% relative to the grey fabric.

摘要: A textile substrate for seat covering contains about 50 wt % of wool and about 50 wt % of viscose rayon. The substrate can be made exclusively of wool and viscose rayon, but can also contain other constituents such as metal threads and plastic fibers, such as polyesters. The substrate can be formed as a woven fabric, for example, which comprises in the warp a mixed yarn of 30 to 70 wt % of wool and 30 to 70 wt % of viscose rayon and in the weft a mixed yarn of 30 to 70 wt % of wool and 30 to 70 wt % of viscose rayon alternating with a pure viscose rayon yarn.

摘要: This invention relates to metallized, particularly aluminized, fabrics which are coated with specific polyurethane finishes and primer coatings comprising novel phosphate-containing primers. Such specific polyurethanes are cross-linked when reacted with the primer coatings and applied in latex form. Upon impregnation within metal-coated fabrics, these particular polyurethanes encapsulate the metal particles and provide vastly improved washfastness properties to the fabrics and thus ensure the retention of substantially all the metal coating within and on the target fabric. The phosphate-containing primer provides remarkably improved adhesion between the metal and the polyurethane for excellent durability and washfastness. The primer compositions as well as the methods of producing a metallized coated with a primed polyurethane encapsulant are also provided.
