摘要： This disclosure relates generally to flow sensors, and more particularly, to flow sensors that include a pressure related output signal. In one example, a flow sensor assembly may include a housing with an inlet flow port, an outlet flow port and a fluid channel extending therebetween, with a flow sensing element positioned in the housing and exposed to the fluid channel. A filter insert may be situated in the fluid channel, sometimes upstream of the flow sensor. When so configured, the flow sensor assembly may output a pressure or differential pressure based, at least in part, on a value of the flow rate through the fluid channel as sensed by the flow sensor.

摘要： This disclosure relates generally to flow sensors, and more particularly, to flow sensors that include a pressure related output signal. 摘要： A bowed roll lubrication system for a bowed roll of the type having an elongated shaft and a plurality of spools disposed about the shaft for rotation. A plurality of ball bearings are disposed along the shaft and each of the bearings has an inner race in contact with the shaft and an outer race in contact with one of the spools. A through passageway extends between the races and cooperates with the races in defining a ball chamber. The lubricant system is designed to provide lubricant to the interior of the ball chambers and includes a lubricant reservoir and a lubricant line extending between the reservoir and the interior of the roll so that the lubricant may be interjected to the interior of the roll at a predetermined location. The interjected lubricant is then directed through the ball chambers in a desired pattern.

摘要： A digital tachometer provides a signal proportional to output speed which clocks a multivibrator whose "on" time is selectively set as a function of desired speed. The output is filtered and any deviation from one-half the peak voltage becomes the speed error signal which is pulse width modulated to provide an error signal to the prime mover. Proper selection of multivibrator parameters provides for a plurality of output pulse widths which accommodate sensitive speed regulation over a low speed range.

摘要： The present invention is a method for making a plastic overcap using a mold tool stack. The mold tool stack has a core and a cavity plate forming a cavity therebetween. The core has a resin passageway therein with a gate in a top surface of the core. The gate has a valve proximate the top surface of the core to regulate resin flowing from the resin passageway and into the cavity. The steps of the mold method are as follows: the mold tool stack is closed to form the cavity; the valve is opened to allow resin to enter the cavity; the valve is closed; the resin is allowed to cool; and the mold tool stack is opened to allow removal of the plastic overcap from within the mold tool stack. The top side of the plastic overcap produced is blemish-free, facilitating placement of labels and other markings thereon.

摘要： A modular sensor assembly in which a sensing module may be packaged and provided separately from a signal processing module and which, in some applications, may facilitate disposal and/or replacement of the sensing module when exposed to a “dirty” or “contaminated” environment without requiring disposal and/or replacement of the entire sensor assembly. In certain applications, the sensing module may include at least one transducer or sensor and a local memory containing a set of conditioning coefficients. The sensing module may be removably coupled to a signal processing module which, in some cases, may be configured to download the set of conditioning coefficients stored in the local memory of the sensing module, and to use the set of conditioning coefficients to produce a substantially linearized output signal.
