摘要: The present invention discloses a multi-touch sensing system capable of optimizing touch bulbs according to the variation of ambient lighting conditions and a method thereof. The system comprises an image capturing module, a computing module and a processing module. The image capturing module captures a touch image. The computing module converts the touch image into a histogram and selects a grayscale threshold to segment the histogram by dichotomy for generating a segmented image of touch bulbs, and then calculates a between-class variance and a total pixel variance of the segmented image to estimate the separability factor thereof. The processing module determines whether or not the separability factor conforms to a predetermined value; if yes, then the processing module performs an image binarization of the touch image to generate a binary image, or else the processing module repeats the aforementioned process until the separability factor conforms to a predetermined value.

摘要: A temporal vector processing device includes a motion vector estimation device for performing a motion estimation on a first pixel to generate a first motion vector. A motion vector compensation device performs a motion vector compensation on the first pixel based on the first motion vector to obtain a second pixel. A buffer temporarily stores motion vectors of the pixels of the image. A motion vector determination device determines whether a second motion vector is stored in the buffer at a corresponding storage location of the second pixel. In determining that the second motion vector is stored in the buffer at the corresponding storage location of the second pixel, the corresponding storage location of the second pixel in the buffer is updated based on a determination mechanism, and otherwise the first motion vector is directly stored in the buffer at the corresponding storage location of the second pixel.

摘要: A de-interlacing system includes a motion adaptive de-interlacer, a horizontal motion estimation device, a horizontal motion compensation device, a vertical motion detection device, a multiplexer, and a film signal detector. The film signal detector receives an input signal and decides whether the input signal is a video stream or a film stream to thereby select an output from the motion adaptive de-interlacer or the horizontal motion estimation and compensation device. Thus, a de-interlacing output has stable and smooth edges when a video stream is inputted, and the motion judder phenomenon is reduced when a film stream is inputted.

摘要: A system for detecting poor video editing detects a television (TV) image signal. When a TV image originates from a film signal rather than a video signal, a de-interlacing device performs a de-interlacing at a film signal mode to thereby increase a vertical resolution of a TV image signal. A sawtooth detector can detect a poor video editing, which causes a sawtooth occurrence to TV image signals, on an unbroadcasted TV image signal. Accordingly, the poor video editing is found in advance. Also, the invention uses a scene change in combination with the sawtooth detector to thereby avoid a poor edited image and obtain a preferred image quality.

摘要: A flat cable connector includes a casing, a plurality of terminals, and a pressing member. Each terminal has a fixing arm, a movable arm, and a connecting portion, the fixing arm having fixing and contact portions, the movable arm having bearing and pressing portions, and a recess formed on the fixing portion and having first and second shoulder portions. The pressing member forms a rotation shaft and a cam portion having a propping end and an actuation end, wherein the rotation shaft is pivotally disposed on the recess, the propping end props against the bearing portion whereby the pressing portion keeps a first distance from the contact portion. When the pressing member is being pressed, the actuation end rotates and props against the bearing portion whereby the pressing portion keeps a second distance from the contact portion, the second distance being shorter than the first distance.

摘要: An electrical connector for a flat conductor that has a novel positioning and retaining structure is disclosed. The electrical connector comprises a housing, a pressure member and a plurality of conductive terminals spaced with a certain interval and planted onto the housing. The electrical connector is characterized in a pair of prominences internally molded at two sides of a lower surface of the pressure member, and another pair of protrusions internally molded at two inner lateral walls of the housing near a front edge of the housing, namely the edge receiving the flat conductor. Thereby, when the flat conductor is inserted into the electrical connector, the flat conductor is firstly positioned by the protrusions of the housing, and then when the pressure member is closed to the housing, the flat conductor is engaged with the prominences of the pressure member.

摘要: An electrical connector (1) includes a housing (2) having at least a pair of engaging portions (203) and a number of passageways (22), a number of terminals (5), a shell (4), and a spacer (3). Each terminal has a mating portion (50) received in the passageway and a tail portion (51) extending downwardly beyond the housing. The spacer includes a pair of hooks (31) extending upwardly from opposite ends thereof and a number of positioning holes (303) for retaining the tail portions in position. Each hook has a first retention portion (32) and a second retention portion (33) positioned above the first retention portion. By means of gradual cooperation between engaging portions and the retention portions, the terminals are gradually oriented and guided by the holes of the spacer to be precisely inserted into a number of apertures defined in a printed circuit board without buckling.
