摘要: An image signal processing DSP subjects an image captured by an imaging element having a zoom lens to image processing for identifying a tracking target. In accordance with zoom information generated by the image signal processing DSP, the main CPU controls the zoom lens; and controls a turn table that moves the imaging element in panning and tilting directions in accordance with pan and tilt information, to track the tracking target. During tracking of the tracking target, a determination is made, from information about movements of the tracking target generated by the image signal processing DSP, as to whether or not the target to be tracked has intruded the inside of the area from the outside. In a case where the target has intruded the inside of a preset area from the outside, an alarm command is produced when the target continually remains in the area for; e.g., one second.

摘要: A camera device (1) includes an AF value calculating unit (14), a focus position determining unit (15), and an LED control unit (16). The AF value calculating unit (14) calculates an AF value from a camera image captured by an image imaging element (2). The focus position determining unit (15) determines a correct focus position based on the AF value. The LED control unit (16) controls light emission of an LED (13) provided in a main body (4) and indicates the correct focus position to a user. This allows to assist the user in focus adjustment by means of a light emitter provided in the main body. Thus, the camera device which allows the user by himself to adjust focus with ease without the help of others is provided.

摘要: A camera device (1) includes: an imaging unit (2) having a complementary color filter; a color temperature estimating unit (8) that estimates a color temperature on the basis of a video signal obtained from the imaging unit (2); a color parameter calculating unit (9) that calculates a color parameter value corresponding to the estimated color temperature; and a color calibrating unit (7) that performs color calibration using the calculated color parameter value. The color parameter calculating unit (9) calculates the color parameter value corresponding to the estimated color temperature on the basis of color parameter values (a first color parameter value and a second color parameter value) at two reference color temperatures (a first color temperature 2000 K and a second color temperature 3200 K). This allows performing color calibration with high color reproducibility using suitable color parameter values according to a change in an illumination condition as well as allows substantially reducing an amount of data required to determine the suitable color parameter values.

摘要: There is provided a monitoring camera apparatus which, while ensuring waterproofness, can perform focus adjustment when a dome cover is mounted. A lens (3) is covered by the dome cover (5) which is removable. A focus adjustment mechanism (9) moves an imaging device (7) in an optical axis direction and thereby performs focus adjustment. A setting button (13) being a focus setting operation unit is arranged in the inner side of the dome cover (5), and operated when the dome cover (5) is mounted. A controller (11) controls the focus adjustment mechanism (9). The controller (11) allows the focus adjustment mechanism (9) to start focus adjustment when a predetermined focus start wait time has elapsed after operation of the setting button (13). The focus start wait time is set according to a standard mounting operation time required to mount the dome cover (5).

摘要: A variable focal lens which does not require a reduction of a zoom factor and eliminates an origin sensor is provided. A microcomputer 15 functions as a focus adjustment section which controls a stepper motor 13 to move a focusing ring 5 for a focus adjustment. The microcomputer 15 causes the focusing ring 5 to move by a first moving distance in a first moving direction toward one of a FAR side and a NEAR side, and then to move the focusing ring 5 by a second moving distance in a second moving direction opposite to the first moving direction, and set the point where the focusing ring reaches after the movement in the second moving direction as a reference point for adjustment, and the microcomputer 15 causes the focusing ring 5 to move from the reference point for adjustment in the first moving direction within a range equal to or less than the second moving distance to carry out the focus adjustment. This configuration eliminates margins provided by software at ends of the movement range of the focusing ring 5.

摘要: A dome-type camera includes a camera lens capable of rotating in a tilt direction, a dome cover for covering the camera lens, and an aperture control unit for controlling the amount of aperture of the camera lens. The amount of aperture is set to become smaller from an open value toward a closed value in accordance with the tilt angle of the camera lens becoming smaller from a zenith direction of the dome cover toward a horizontal direction. According to this dome-type camera, a desirable low tilt angle image with a reduced blur may be obtained even with a megapixel dome camera.

摘要: An object of the present invention is to provide an electronic device capable of receiving payment of a charge required for a charging process even though a secondary battery of the electronic device ran into an overdischarge state and also extricating itself from the overdischarge state, and a charger used for the same. A charger (3) executes a power transmission before it conducts a proximity noncontact communication with an electronic device (2), continues this power transmission until a preliminary charging stop notification signal is sent from the electronic device (2), and conducts the proximity noncontact communication regarding to a billing process with the electronic device (2) when the preliminary charging stop notification signal is sent. After the communication regarding to the billing process is ended, the charger (3) gives a charge of electricity to the electronic device (2) again. The electronic device (2) charges a secondary battery (28) by using the power transmission, then executes the charging up to a level at which the proximity noncontact communication regarding to the billing process can be conducted, then conducts the proximity noncontact communication regarding to the billing process with the charger (3), and then restarts the power transmission from the charger (3) to execute the charging until the secondary battery (28) is fully charged. In this manner, the noncontact charging and the proximity noncontact communication are executed between the electronic device (2) and the charger (3) in a time-division system.
