    摘要: Examples of the present invention utilize principal component analysis (PCA) to detect cough sounds in an audio stream. Comparison of all or portions of the audio stream with a cough model may be conducted. The cough model may include a number of basis vectors may be based on initial portions of known coughs. The initial portions may be non-user specific, and accordingly the cough model may be used to detect coughs across individuals. Moreover, examples of the present invention may reconstruct the cough sounds from stored features such that the cough sounds are reconstructed but the reconstruction techniques used may be insufficient to reconstruct speech sounds that may also have been recorded, which may increase user privacy.

    摘要: This invention relates to a method for making an electrolyte composition of a dye-sensitized solar cell comprising utilizing exfoliated clay nanoplatelets and the method for rapidly encapsulating cations. The electrolyte composition mainly includes exfoliated clay nanoplatelets, an ionic liquid and iodine. The method for rapidly encapsulating cation comprises adding the exfoliated clay nanoplatelets into a cationic solution, wherein the exfoliated clay nanoplatelets encapsulates cations and recovers into a layered structure such that phase separation of the solution occurs; and filtrating the solution to separate the clay nanoplatelets encapsulating the cations. The exfoliated clay nanoplatelets have a unique property of encapsulation for the cations, is suitable for use in an electrolyte composition for dye-sensitized solar cells, cationic drug encapsulation and environmental protection.

Through the circuit operation of the reset units and the voltage adjustment unit, occurrences of image retention phenomenon and pixel brightness distortion on the OLED screen can be avoided.

    摘要: The present invention, in one aspect, relates to an active matrix electroluminescent display device. In one embodiment, the active matrix electroluminescent display device includes an emission layer and a circuit layer. The emission layer includes a plurality of regularly-spaced emission pixels disposed in a row. The circuit layer is disposed under the emission layer and includes a plurality of pixel circuits. Each pixel circuit is electrically coupled to a respective emission pixel for controlling the current through the respective emission pixel in response to an applied data signal. The plurality of pixel circuits is spatially arranged into a plurality of groups with each group including one or more adjacent pixel circuits. Any two neighboring groups of adjacent pixel circuits are separated by a space therebetween. The circuit layer further includes a plurality of buffer circuits connected to each other in series. Each buffer circuit is configured to drive a respective group of adjacent pixel circuits in response to a scan signal. At least one buffer circuit is positioned in a respective space between two neighboring groups of adjacent pixel circuits.

The portable device includes a rechargeable battery and a measurement chip to measure charge remaining in the rechargeable battery. The power adapter includes a transmission line, a microprocessor, and a display unit. The microprocessor receives the readout of the amount of charge remaining in the rechargeable battery from the measurement chip via the transmission line, and generates a display signal according to the charge remaining. The display unit displays the charging progress of the rechargeable battery according to the display signal received from the microprocessor.
