    摘要: A thin film transistor (TFT) array includes a substrate, a thin film transistor, a first wall, a transparent electrode and a color resist. The thin film transistor is disposed on the substrate. The first wall is disposed on the substrate and separates a first contact hole from a pixel region on the substrate, wherein the first contact hole exposes a drain electrode of the thin film transistor. The first wall has a first sidewall facing towards the first contact hole and a second sidewall facing towards the pixel region, wherein the slope of the first sidewall is gentler than the slope of the second sidewall. The transparent electrode is electrically connected to the drain electrode of the thin film transistor through the first contact hole. The pixel region is filled with the color resist.

    摘要: A method of repairing a pixel structure is provided. In the method, the pixel structure on a substrate is provided and includes a scan line, a data line, an active device, an insulating layer, and a pixel electrode. The scan line and the data line are located on the substrate. The active device is located on the substrate and electrically connected to the scan line and the data line. The insulating layer covers the scan line, the data line, and the active device and has a contact opening. The pixel electrode is located on the insulating layer and fills the contact opening to electrically connect the active device. A laser removing process is performed to remove the pixel electrode in the contact opening, such that the pixel electrode is electrically insulated from the active device.

    摘要: An active device array substrate including a substrate, a plurality of scan lines, a plurality of data lines, a plurality of active devices, a first passivation layer, a transparent pad layer, a plurality of color filter patterns, a second passivation layer, a plurality of pixel electrodes, and a black matrix layer is provided. Each of the active devices is electrically connected to one of the scan lines and one of the data lines, respectively. The transparent pad layer having a plurality of openings for accommodating the color filter patterns is disposed on the first passivation layer located above the scan lines and the data lines. The first passivation layer, the color filter patterns and the second passivation layer have a plurality of contact windows therein. The black matrix layer is disposed above the transparent pad layer to cover a portion of the pixel electrodes.

    摘要: A liquid crystal display including an active device array substrate, an opposite substrate disposed above the active device array substrate, a liquid crystal layer disposed between the active device array substrate and the opposite substrate, and spacers is provided. The active device array substrate includes a substrate, pixels, a first dielectric layer and color filter patterns. Each pixel includes a first active device, a first pixel electrode and a capacitor electrode. The capacitor electrode and the first pixel electrode constitute a storage capacitor. The first dielectric layer covers the first active device. The color filter patterns are disposed on the first dielectric layer. Each of the color filter patterns has a first opening disposed above the capacitor electrode to expose the first dielectric layer above the capacitor electrode. Each first pixel electrode is respectively disposed on one of the color filters and within the corresponding first opening.

    摘要: A pixel structure including an active device, a capacitor electrode line, a light shielding layer, a color filter pattern and a pixel electrode is provided. The active device and the capacitor electrode line are disposed on a substrate. The light shielding layer is disposed on the substrate, and the dielectric constant of the light shielding layer is less than 6. The light shielding layer defines a unit area on the substrate, and a contact hole is formed in the light shielding layer above the active device. A color filter pattern is disposed in the unit area, wherein the dielectric constant of the color filter pattern is less than 6, and the color filter pattern does not fill into the contact hole. The pixel electrode is disposed on the color filter pattern, in which the pixel electrode fills into the contact hole so as to electrically connect with the active device.

The first substrate array has a display area and a peripheral area, wherein the pixel array is disposed in the display area, the peripheral circuit is disposed in the peripheral area, and the pixel array and the peripheral circuit are electrically connected. The first protection layer is disposed on the display area and the peripheral area to cover the pixel array and the peripheral circuit. The second protection layer is at least disposed on the first protection layer within the peripheral area. Here, the second protection layer includes a color filter material layer, a black matrix material layer, a photo spacer material layer, or a combination thereof. The second substrate is disposed above the first substrate to expose the peripheral area.

    摘要: An active device array substrate including a substrate, multiple scan lines, multiple data lines, multiple of pixels are provided. The scan lines and the data lines are disposed on the substrate. Each pixel includes multiple sub-pixels including at least a transistor, a pixel electrode, and a color filter. The transistor is disposed on the substrate and electrically connected to the scan line and the data line correspondingly. A portion of the color filter is disposed between the pixel electrode and the corresponding scan line. The pixel electrode is coupled with the corresponding scan line to form a first capacitor. The drain of the transistor is coupled with the corresponding scan line to form a second capacitor. In a single pixel, the coupling areas of the pixel electrodes corresponding to various color filters with the corresponding scan lines are different, so that capacitance of the first capacitors are substantially the same.

    摘要: An active device array substrate including a substrate, an active device array, a black matrix, a color filter, at least a pad, and at least a contact window is provided. The substrate has a display region and a periphery circuit region. The pad is disposed in the display region or the periphery circuit region and is constituted by at least one of a first conductive layer and a second conductive layer. The contact window is disposed on the pad, through which a third conductive layer is connected to the pad. The contact window is surrounded by at least two different types of light-shielding patterns, wherein each light-shielding pattern surrounds only a part of the periphery of the contact window. The light-shielding patterns are selected form at least two of the black matrix, the color filter, the first conductive layer, and the second conductive layer.
