    摘要: There is provided a film having use of impact absorption capable of protecting a panel from impacts when the impacts are given to a display device, a window since it has an excellent ability to absorb impacts given to a surface of a display device, a window, or equivalent base plates. The impact absorption layer having a thickness of 30 μm or more has a hardness of 20 to 100 as measured at a room temperature using an Asker C hardness tester. Also, the film having use of impact absorption has excellent impact resistance and includes at least one layer, wherein the film includes at least one impact absorption layer having a hardness of 20 to 100 as measured at a room temperature using an Asker C hardness tester, the impact absorption layer having the total thickness of 30 μm or more.

    摘要: There is provided a PDP filter for absorbing near infrared ray capable of significantly reducing the kind and amount of dyes that are used to block a near infrared ray (NIR) emitted from PDP, the filters having physical properties that are improved when compared to conventional PDP filters for absorbing near infrared ray in which a large amount of 2, 3 or more dyes are used to block wide NIR spectra. The PDP filter includes a dye whose maximum absorption wavelength to a near infrared ray ranges from 880 to 1000 nm, and preferably from 900 to 960 nm. The PDP filter can be useful to improve its productivity, reduce the manufacturing cost and prevent the decrease in the light transmittance by unnecessary dyes.

    摘要: The present invention relates to a film for improving contrast, a plasma display panel (PDP) filter including the film, and a PDP apparatus, and more particularly, to a film for improving contrast, the film capable of reducing a decrease of the contrast by shielding light from an external light source and of preventing an occurrence of moire when attached to a display apparatus, and a PDP apparatus including the film. The film included in the filter for improving contrast includes a pattern of a plurality of stripes with a section in the shape of one of being narrowed from a surface to an inner portion of the film such as a trapezoid and triangle and having a uniform width such as a rectangle and a parallelogram, wherein an angle formed by the stripe pattern and a horizontal line is 0 to 5° when staring at the film in front. According to an aspect of the present invention, there are provided a film capable of improving contrast ratio of a screen without decreasing a brightness of light emitted from a PDP, a PDP filter including the film, and a display apparatus. The provided PDP filter and the display apparatus provide a screen having a high quality preventing moire.
