Abstract:
A call setup method is provided for a MVPN which includes at least one access point apparatus, at least one database, and a plurality of users. The database records a private extension number, a user phone number, and a user identity module of each user and a link address of the corresponding access point apparatus. The access point apparatus corresponding to a MO user receives a call setup request message for setting up a call with a MT user from the MO user. The access point apparatus corresponding to the MO user determines whether the link address of the access point apparatus corresponding to the MT user is valid according to the database. If the link address of the access point apparatus corresponding to the MT user is valid, the MO user and the MT user set up the call through the access point apparatuses corresponding to the link addresses.
Abstract:
A gateway for routing an international mobile telephone call comprises a storage device and a cost-saving routing module. The storage device is configured to store a mapping table and a call record table. The mapping table records a mobile phone number of a roaming subscriber and a fixed network number, and the call record table records a caller's phone number and the mobile phone number of the roaming subscriber. The cost-saving routing module is configured to establish a connection in accordance with the mapping table and call record table.

Abstract:
The present invention provides an overflow control method for frame synchronization of base stations in wireless communication network system. The wireless communication network system includes a radio network controller, a first base station, a second base station, and a mobile unit. The radio network controller transmits a plurality of data frames to the first base station and the second base station. The present invention includes the following steps. First, determine whether number of the plurality of data frames received by the second base station is larger than a judging storage capacity. Second, calculate an X and delete X of data frames from the second base station if the number is larger. The X is equal to the result of subtracting the judging storage capacity from the number. Meanwhile, detect a link quality between the mobile unit and the first base station. If the link quality is lower than a preset value, calculate an N and delete N of data frames from the second base station when N is larger than zero. The N is equal to number of data frames not yet deleted from the second base station and already received by the mobile unit.
Abstract:
This invention proposes a mobility management method and system for wireless data networks, such as GPRS and UMTS systems. The wireless data network consists of at least one mobile device and one network apparatus. The cells in a wireless data network are partitioned into several routing areas. In the wireless data network, the mobility management activities for a mobile device are characterized by a mobility management finite state machine exercised in both the mobile device and network apparatus. There are three states in the machine: idle state, standby state and ready state. Both the mobile device and network apparatus employ a ready counter, which counts the number of cells crossed by the mobile device in the packet idle period between two packet transmissions. If the counted number reaches a threshold, the mobility management state switches from the ready state to standby state.
Abstract:
A mobile communication system is disclosed including one or more home location registers, one or more visitor location registers and one or more mobile terminal equipments. Each mobile terminal equipment is served by a single home location register. Each registration area or geographical area of mobile communication service is covered or served by a visitor location register. "Overflow" mobile terminals, i.e., more mobile terminals than user records that can be maintained at the visitor location registers, are permitted to register at the visitor location registers. To that end, each home location register maintains an indication, e.g., a bit, for each mobile terminal it manages indicating whether or not the mobile terminal is an overflow mobile termninal. When a mobile terminal is registered at the visitor location register and no user records are available, the visitor location record nevertheless registers the mobile terminal. One mobile terminal is selected as an overflow terminal and the user record for that terminal is deleted or is not generated. The home location register for the overflow mobile terminal then sets the overflow indicator for the mobile terminal to indicate that it is is the overflow terminal. Overflow mobile terminals are easily canceled--no user record is stored for such mobile terminals at the visitor location register. Calls can be originated by overflow mobile terminals by first forcing them to re-register. To terminate calls to overflow mobile terminals, the visitor location register must allocate a user record to the overflow terminal, including possibly selecting another mobile terminal as an overflow mobile terminal, thereby making a user record available.
Abstract:
An intelligent power socket system is disclosed. The system is composed of a control module, a switched electricity receptacle module, a switched USB module and a dimming receptacle module. Each module has a power plug and a power socket. The control module can receive control commands from a smartphone by a user. The other three functional modules can be controlled by the control module through power line communication (PLC). The modules may be located at different places within an electricity supply division so that they can communicate through the power lines.
Abstract:
A movement predicting method is disclosed. The method utilizes at least one phone communicating in and moving between neighboring cells of base stations to predict population movement in a prediction interval. Firstly, obtain the traffic volumes in the cells generated by the phone and the handover information generated by the phone moving between the cells in a day. Next, calculate the traffic volumes and the handover information to obtain a movement probability for the population moving between the cells and an average residence time that the population stays in the region of each cell in the different periods of the day. Finally, according to the data obtained, predict an appearance probability that the population appears in each region at the end point of the prediction interval.

Abstract:
A file repair method for Multimedia Broadcast Multicast Service (MBMS) and a UMTS network are disclosed. According to the method, a data structure is established according to a repair request message sent from a user equipment. Each repair block is multicast to the user equipment that requested it by using the original MBMS Bearer Service for file downloading according to the data structure. The present invention does not need any extra traffic and additional control signaling to allow each user equipment to receive required repair blocks.
