    摘要: A resilient terminal with a buckling prevention mechanism has a pair of electric contact portions that are interconnected through a flexible joint portion. The pair of contact portions are provided with abutment portions that are disposed opposite to each other with a small gap therebetween. When there is a misalignment between the mating terminals or when an excessive insertion force is applied, the flexible joint portion of the terminal deflects to allow the male terminal to be inserted therein. The flexible joint portion, however, is protected against buckling because an excess bending of the joint portion is blocked by the abutment portions abutting against each other. At the same time, one of the abutment portions slides on the other, correcting the terminal misalignment and ensuring reliable terminal engagement.

    摘要: An electrical junction block for an automotive vehicle comprises a housing containing a planar, multilayer busbar and a printed circuit board, the busbar and the printed circuit board being maintained in parallel and electrically insulated relationship to one another. A plurality of receptacles are formed on the exterior surfaces of the housing to receive mating electrical components such as fuses, relays, and wiring harness connectors. Electrical connection between the printed circuit board and the electrical components is via a plurality of printed circuit board connection terminals having first ends which make electrical contact with the face of the printed circuit board oriented toward the busbar and second ends which pass through holes in the busbar and then through apertures in the housing and into the receptacles. Each printed circuit board connection terminal comprises spacer plates which maintain the printed circuit board and the busbar a desired distance apart and a spring portion which makes electrical contact with the printed circuit board, deflecting slightly when the spacer plates are urged into contact with the printed circuit board.

    摘要: A structure for fastening a resin member to a base member typically composed of a metallic material with a threaded bolt passed through holes provided in the resin member and the base member, comprising a metallic sleeve through which the bolt is passed fitted in the hole of the resin member, the length of the sleeve being slightly shorter than that of the hole of the resin member. Therefore, when the threaded bolt is tightened, the inner circumferential wall of the hole of the resin member collapses upon a longitudinal end of the sleeve so that the threaded bolt may be securely tightened without damaging the resin member because the metallic sleeve bears a substantial amount of the stress produced by the fastening of the threaded bolt. Further, intervention of the part of the inner circumferential wall of the hole of the resin material between the longitudinal end of the sleeve and the head of the threaded bolt or a washer thereof prevents metal-to-metal contact therebetween, and produces a vibration insulating effect.

The joint terminal is useful for connecting tabs of bus bars constituting internal circuit and male terminals of electric parts for automobiles.
