    摘要: A wireless communication apparatus, having a plurality of antennas 11-1 to 11-M and for diversity-combining signals received by the plurality of antennas 11-1 to 11-M, is provided with a combining information calculation unit 14 for calculating antenna combined amplitude and combining weights based on received power of the plurality of antennas 11-1 to 11-M, a combining unit 15 for weighting and combining the signals received by the plurality of antennas 11-1 to 11-M based on the combining weights calculated, and a decoding processing unit 16 for decoding a combined reception signal generated by the combining unit 15. It thereby improves fading durability of the decoding process by reducing influence of multipath fading caused by arrival waves with delays, even in a case of using only a small number of reception antennas, and maintains a stable reception condition consistently, as well as achieving downsizing of and reduction in cost of hardware.

    摘要: An acoustic echo canceller for cancelling an acoustic echo component produced when a signal on a receiving communication line appears on a transmitting communication line via an acoustic echo path. In the acoustic echo canceller, a variable coefficient series is divided into blocks, among which selected is a block requiring a coefficient correction amount update operation conforming to the attenuation characteristic of an impulse response in a sound field. A coefficient fitted to the attenuation characteristic of the impulse response in the sound field is set for the selected block. Therefore, convergence speed degradation of the acoustic echo cancellation characteristic involved in divided update can be compensated, and even if an echo path characteristic fluctuates, an excellent follow-up characteristic is provided, so that stable and high-speed acoustic echo cancellation can always be executed.

    摘要: In a transmission apparatus of a Gigabit Ethernet signal, in order to improve line efficiency, time division multiplexing is used. Further, if it is possible to branch/insert plural multiplexed Gigabit Ethernet signals at arbitrary nodes, it is possible to construct a more flexible network. For this reason, importance of a time division multiplexing apparatus having a function of branching/inserting Gigabit Ethernet signals is growing. A Gigabit Ethernet signal is monitored at the previous and subsequent stages of a cross connect unit, IFGs are inserted to the signal and switching is waited. If a signal state at the cross connection unit is an IFG, transmission path switching is performed, thereby performing transmission path switching without instantaneous interruption.
