摘要： In a data input/output system having a plurality of input devices and a plurality of output devices, a display can be performed with a consistency maintained between an input parameter used to establish the operational condition of an input device to be used for data input and an output parameter used to establish the operational condition of an output device to be used for data output, and thereby the data input/output system, a data input/output method and a data input/output system control apparatus can be provided, wherein an optimum establishment of setting items which are related to a combination between input and output devices required in a case where a multiple of input and output devices are connected to one another can be easily done with reliability by use of a minimum number of operations and thereby eliminating erroneous operations.

摘要： When the print object conversion method is realized as a printer driver, first, a print object print request is received from an application. Then, intermediate data are generated from the print object and an object classification table is generated from the print object in parallel with the execution of generating intermediate data. Next, the object classification table and operating environment of the computer are compared to a PDL decision table prepared beforehand, and a single PDL is selected from among a plurality of PDLs. In PDL data generation, PDL data described in the selected PDL are generated from the intermediate data. The generated PDL data are output to the printer.

The intermediate data is spooled in the storage device by the spooler, the intermediate data of the print data being spooled even after the print data is transmitted. The spooled intermediate data is edited by the editor. The editor is controlled by the controller to edit the intermediate data spooled in the storage device after printed according to an instruction of data re-editing by a user. The converter and the transmitting device are controlled by the controller.

摘要： In order to carry out a printing operation without waiting for a while in the case in which a printing device receiving printing job data cannot execute the printing operation for some reason, a plurality of printing devices (100) which are network-connected are formed into groups based on a processable language and one of the printing devices belonging to the same language group is caused to act as a managing printing device. The managing printing device receives a status signal from all the printing devices belonging to the same language group, and distributes the printing job data transmitted from the printing device to the other printing devices belonging to the same language group when any of the printing devices cannot carry out the printing operation. In this case, one printing device for supporting a plurality of languages can be set as a managing printing device which is common to each group.

The image forming apparatus comprises: an executor that executes at least one from the image reading function, the copy function and the print function; an operation portion; and a communicator that exchanges information with the server apparatus. The server apparatus comprises: a communicator that exchanges information with the image forming apparatus; and a virtual image forming apparatus that is set up by software, as a controller portion dominantly controlling the entire image forming apparatus including the executor. In the virtual image forming apparatus on the server apparatus controls the image forming apparatus by commands, and thereby the image forming apparatus performs operations as if acting on a voluntary basis, in response to an instruction given by a user via an operation portion of the image forming apparatus itself.
