    摘要: A display panel includes a gate driving circuit, a plurality of gate lines, a plurality of data lines and a dummy gate line. The gate driving circuit is disposed in a peripheral area surrounding a display area. The gate lines are disposed in the display area and receive a plurality of gate signals sequentially outputted from the gate driving circuit. The data lines are disposed in the display area and cross the gate lines. The dummy gate line is disposed adjacent to the last gate line of the gate lines and receives a dummy gate signal transmitted from an external device. Thus, a dummy gate line is adjacent to the last gate line and a pixel electrode connected to the last gate line is affected by a dummy gate signal applied to the dummy gate line.

The apparatus includes: an angular velocity estimating unit for estimating an angular velocity signal by removing an error signal generated from an input angular velocity sensor signal through a first low frequency band filtering operation; and an inclination angle estimating unit for estimating an inclination angle signal by receiving an inclination angle sensor signal, extracting low frequency component of inclination angle signal through performing a second low frequency band filtering operating on the received inclination angle sensor signal, obtaining an inclination angle integrating signal through integrating the estimated angular velocity signal, extracting high frequency component of inclination angle signal through performing a high frequency band filtering operation on the inclination angle integrating signal, and adding the extracted low frequency component and high frequency component of inclination angle signal.

    摘要: In a light sensing element having simplified structure, an array substrate having the light sensing element and an LCD apparatus having the light sensing element, the light sensing element includes a first electrode, a control electrode and a second electrode. An alternating bias voltage is applied to the first electrode. An off voltage is applied to the control electrode. The second electrode outputs a light-induced leakage current based on an externally provided light and the bias voltage. Therefore, the array substrate includes one light sensing switching element corresponding to one pixel so that structure of the array substrate is simplified and opening ratio is increased.

    摘要: A driver chip for controlling a high-resolution display panel is presented. The driver chip is not much larger than a conventional driver chip that is currently used for lower resolution display panels. The driver chip applies data signals to the data lines of the display panel and gate control signals to a gate driver that is formed in the peripheral region of the display panel. The gate driver, which may be made of amorphous silicon TFTs, generates gate signals in response to the gate control signals from the driver chip and applies the gate signals to gate lines. Since the driver chip of the invention controls more gate lines and data lines than a conventional chip of about the same size, the driver chip may be easily adapted for display devices having multiple panels. Where multiple panels are used, the panels may be scanned simultaneously or sequentially.
