    摘要: An improved floating circular hull construction arrangement. The hull is divided into sections by watertight flats. The flats are stiffened with angles or bulb tees curved to form concentric circles that are in turn supported by the radial girders spaced around the flats and spanning between the inner and outer-shells. In each section, longitudinal girders spaced radially around the inside of the outer-shell terminate at the flats and attach to the flats and do not penetrate the flats. The longitudinal girders are attached to flats aligned with the locations of the radial girders that extend across the flats to the inner and outer shells. A panel stiffening arrangement on the inner circumference of the outer shell is attached to the outer shell and the longitudinal girders. Longitudinal girders spaced around the outer circumference of the inner shell extend along the length of the inner shell and are attached to the radial girders. With the inner and outer longitudinal girders connected to the radial girders, moment resisting frames are created that are arranged radially in each compartment. These frames stiffen the individual girders as well as balance the differential axial loadings in the inner shell and outer shell surfaces. The compartments are assembled with the sections in a vertical orientation to minimize self-weight distortion during erection and to provide direct access with shop cranes during assembly of the full sections. The completed sections are rotated to the horizontal to be joined to the other sections to form a complete cylinder.

The plasma display panel includes a lower substrate, a plurality of barriers formed on the lower substrate, an upper substrate, a dielectric layer formed on the upper substrate to have grooves of a predetermined depth along regions adjoining the barriers, and a plurality of ground electrodes formed between the barriers and the grooves of the dielectric layer, having both ends commonly connected to one another. Thus, it is possible to prevent noise of the product resulting from vibration of the upper and lower substrates from occurring and optimize the operation conditions, thereby improving quality of the product.

    摘要: A solder wave height measuring device is provided that may be constructed using a horizontal supporting member that is positioned on a set of conveyors. Perpendicularly attached to the horizontal supporting member is a graduated beam that slidably supports a measuring jacket. The jacket may have a cubic shape, drum shape, or any polyhedron shape, but the jacket will preferably have an upper surface that is perpendicular to the graduated beam to simplify taking visual readings. A surface of the measuring jacket is in contact with the top end of the solder wave to allow the measuring jacket to accurately indicate the height of the solder wave on the graduated beam. Additionally, a fastener can be used to fix the measuring jacket to the graduated beam. The measuring jacket is fixed to the graduated beam by a fastener when the measuring jacket indicates an optimum height to solder at maximum efficiency. This provides an easy and convenient measurement of the solder wave height. Additionally, the apparatus of the present invention is relatively economical due to its low manufacturing cost and simple assembly, the apparatus is easy to operate, few component parts are used, readings can be made visually without requiring operators to bend over into inconvenient positions, the apparatus can be easily maintained in an environment that does not have easy access to high technology components, and the apparatus is easy to operate, repair, and understand by less skilled workers.
