Techniques for using multiple sampling frequencies to detect the location of touch inputs of a user at a touch panel of a touch device. A determination is made as to which of and second sampling frequencies is provided to a receiver for use in sampling the touch inputs from the touch panel. The user touch inputs are first sampled from the touch panel during first and second successive time frames using first and second different sampling frequencies, respectively.

The present invention discloses a method and system for sharing community network service information, characterized in that users can send their community network service information and their friend lists for real-time communication to a data server, and share the community network service information with the friends in the friend lists who have logged onto the data server. Thus, the users can share the community information from different community network service platforms with their friends. Additionally, the data server can periodically confirm whether the users and their friends update the community network service information or not and send the updated information to the users and their friends.

A wireless communication device and method for automatically selecting a band and mode is provided. Utilizing the global positioning system to obtain the position of the wireless device for simplifying the process of searching service networks and reducing power consumption. A wireless communication device includes a Wi-Fi module for operating in WLAN system and a Bluetooth module for operating in Bluetooth system. After entering a power-saving mode, the wireless communication device is configured to turn off the Wi-Fi module and periodically scan an operational frequency band of a network using the Bluetooth module. When detecting a radio frequency signal having the same bandwidth as the network in the operational frequency band, the wireless communication device is configured to enter a normal mode.

A method to save time needed in battery replacement for a Notebook and a battery detector thereof is comprised of having placed the battery detector containing a voltage detection circuit and a register module in the Notebook. When the power level of the battery falls below a first threshold, a prompt menu including a battery replacement option is displayed. When battery replacement option is selected, the Notebook enters a sleep mode and a numeric value marking the need of an automatic power on for the Notebook is stored in the register module. If the voltage detected by the voltage detection circuit is greater than a second threshold, and a numeric value marking the need of an automatic power on for the Notebook is stored in the register module, the Notebook is driven to perform a power on procedure.

An electronic device and a method for adjusting a pixel clock frequency thereof are provided. The electronic device automatically detects whether or not the electronic device has a wireless communication module during a boot procedure. If the electronic device has the wireless communication module, the electronic device reads an adjustment parameter corresponding to a panel model of the electronic device through a lookup table stored in the electronic device and adjusts the pixel clock frequency according to the adjustment parameter so as to avoid generating harmonics of the panel pixel clock in an operating frequency band of the wireless communication module.

The present invention discloses a power saving method of a portable Internet device, the portable Internet device and its instant messaging system. If a screen of the portable Internet device is in non-view state, for example, both backlight module and LCD panel are turned off, it means that a user is not viewing the screen, and thus the message update frequency of the instant messaging program is lowered to prevent unnecessary transmission and receiving of wireless signals, so as to reduce power comsumption of the portable Internet device.

The present invention discloses an audio signal processing device capable of transmitting at least one audio signal generated by an audio decoder to at least one first speaker and a second speaker. The audio signal processing device includes a signal mixer and at least one filter. By the at least one filter, a first signal having a frequency larger than a first specific frequency in each audio signal is transmitted to at least one first speaker, and a second signal having a frequency smaller than the first specific frequency in each audio signal is transmitted to the signal mixer and then transmitted to the second speaker.
