    摘要: A smart 3GDT schema has been disclosed, in detail, a method for controlling the communication of a network system has been disclosed. The network system comprises a UE, a NodeB, a RNC, a SGSN, and a GW. The UE is arranged to be in communication with the RNC via the NodeB, and the RNC is arranged to be in communication with the SGSN which in turn being arranged to be in communication with the GW for non-3GDT communication of the network system, or the RNC is arranged to be in communication with the GW for 3GDT communication of the network system. In this method, statistics of payload transferred between the UE and the GW has been monitored, and if the statistics of payload within a predetermined time period exceeds a first threshold, and the UE is in the non-3GDT communication, then switching the non-3GDT communication to the 3GDT communication. The present application has also disclosed the SGSN, GW, and the network system adaptive to perform the method.

    摘要: A mobility management node and a method in a mobility management node for reducing signalling caused by changes of location of a radio terminal, which mobility management node is configured to be operatively comprised by a wireless communication system and to operatively manage the mobility of the radio terminal and to operatively communicate with a gateway node acting as an interface between the system and an external network. The method comprises obtaining initial position information; obtaining boundary information indicating a boundary area wherein at least one of a policy or a charging rule is to be applied for the radio terminal; obtaining current position information; determining whether the radio terminal is inside or outside the boundary area; providing mobility information when the radio terminal is outside the boundary area and not providing mobility information to the gateway node when the radio terminal is inside the boundary area.

    摘要: The invention discloses a method for moving a wireless terminal in a mobility management serving node pool comprising at least a source mobility management serving node and a target mobility management serving node, comprising: initiating, from the source mobility management serving node, a first subscriber context procedure to inform the target mobility management serving node of a move action for the wireless terminal; launching, from the target mobility management serving node, a second subscriber context procedure to obtain a subscriber context for the wireless terminal from the source mobility management serving node, in response to the informing; and establishing a connection between a radio access node for the wireless terminal and a session management gateway node via the target mobility management serving node. An apparatus and a system are also disclosed for the same. With the solution, control plane and user plane traffic for the wireless terminal may be moved with a minimum of payload loss.
