Abstract: Techniques are described for creating and manipulating software notes representative of physical notes. A computing device is described that includes a processor and an image collection module executable on the processor and configured to receive an input image of an environment having a plurality of physical notes. An image processing engine executable on the processor is configured to identify the plurality of physical notes in the input image and generate, for each of the physical notes, a corresponding digital note. The image processing engine is further configured to identify an indication of one or more groups of the plurality of identified notes in the input image and group the plurality of digital notes according to the indication.

Abstract: The invention seeks to provide a communication system, a data transmitting device, a communication device, and a communication method capable of exchanging a sufficient capacity of data in a simple configuration without reducing the speed of a vehicle. The invention provides a communication system for transmitting data by a data transmitting device provided on a route of a moving body to the moving body having a plurality of vehicles in one formation; each of the plurality of vehicles being provided with a receiving unit that receives data transmitted from the data transmitting device; and the data transmitting device being configured to transmit mutually different data to the receiving units of the plurality of vehicles. The moving body may be a train such as the Shinkansen, or a transport vehicle such as a truck to which a plurality of cargo vehicles are connected.

Abstract: A triboelectric film and its laminate that utilize a conductive primer are provided. The triboelectric effect is a type of contact electrification such that with a suitable configuration, a current may flow from one region to another. When decorative triboelectric films are touched, electrical charges are built up and the generated electrical charges between a human body and films flow through a conductive primer. This system based on the triboelectric effect and the conductive primer can provide electrical functions to decorative film products without there being any large changes.

Abstract: At least one aspect of the present disclosure directs to a deformation amount measuring method is a method in which a sheet (101) is used that includes a first layer portion (111) having a first pattern (121) that includes a plurality of line drawings extending in a first direction, and a second layer portion (112) overlaid on the first layer portion (111) and having a second pattern (122) that includes a plurality of line drawings extending in a second direction different than the first direction. The method includes the steps of acquiring, from the sheet (101) that has been disposed on a measurement subject, post-deformation image data corresponding to a post-deformation image including a post-deformation moire produced as a result of a post-deformation first pattern (121) and second pattern (122) being overlaid and finding an amount of deformation of the measurement subject on the basis of the post-deformation image data.
