Abstract: An over-laminate film applied to a decorative surface is described. In particular the over-laminate film includes: a transparent resin base film having a first surface and a second surface opposite to the first surface; a low gloss layer disposed on the first surface of the transparent resin base film; and a transparent adhesive layer disposed on the second surface of the transparent resin base film, the low gloss layer including a binder containing a resin, resin beads having an average particle size of 4 μm or greater and 20 μm or less, and nanosilica particles, the low gloss layer having surface glossiness of 5 GU or less at 60 degrees.

Abstract: A film including a surface layer is described. In particular, the surface layer includes a low gloss layer including a binder containing a resin and resin beads having an average particle size of 4 μm to 20 μm, and a printed pattern partially covering the low gloss layer, a region of the low gloss layer not covered with the printed pattern exhibits a matte appearance with 1.5 GU or less at 60 degrees of a surface glossiness, a surface glossiness of a region of the printed pattern is higher than the surface glossiness of the region not covered with the printed pattern, and the film has a visible texture.

Abstract: An adherable film includes a substrate that is substantially free of a flame retardant material and has a top major surface and a bottom major surface. An adhesive layer disposed on the bottom major surface of the substrate has a continuous pattern. The adhesive layer is made of an adhesive that is substantially free of a flame retardant material. In a plan view, the continuous pattern defines a plurality of discontinuous non-adhesive portions of the substrate without the adhesive. Each discontinuous non-adhesive portion is completely surrounded by the continuous pattern. The adherable film including the adhesive layer having the continuous pattern exhibits an improved flame retarding characteristic relative to a discontinuous adherable film having a substrate with a same material composition as that of the substrate of the adherable film and a discontinuous adhesive layer with a same material composition as that of the adhesive layer of the adherable film.

Abstract: Object: The present disclosure provides a film having a low gloss appearance and excellent scratch resistance, and a surface coating composition that can be used in the production of such a film. Resolution Means: The film of one embodiment of the present disclosure includes a scratch resistant surface layer containing a binder containing a urethane resin, urethane resin beads having an average particle diameter of 3 μm to 30 μm, hard particles having an average particle diameter of 5 μm to 45 μm; and nanosilica particles. The surface layer contains the hard particles in an amount of 30 parts by mass to 500 parts by mass per 100 parts by mass of the binder. The gloss of the surface layer is approximately 5.5 GU or less at 60 degrees.
