Abstract: An expandable structure can expand to provide a second story and patio over the first story. The expandable structure can be provided as a recreational vehicle, for example. The second story can recess partially into the first story, while the walls of the second story can be formed in two portions that nest with each other, into the upper portion of the first story, when in the retracted state. During expansion, the second story floor can move upward, into its expanded state location, then the roof can lift, unnesting the walls of the second story to form the second story living space. The patio handrails can automatically deploy as the second story is opened. A sliding door, for example, can provide a passage from the second story living space to the patio.

Abstract: An expandable home structure includes a main structure and a first expansion section that is expandable outward in a first direction from a first side of the main structure. Once the expansion section is expanded, coverage members can unfold from a bottom of the floor member and the floor member can be lowered within the unfolded coverage members, thus providing a sunken floor for the expanded section. The floor member may fold vertically against the main section in the folded configuration. After the front and rear walls are unfolded from the main section, the outer wall of the expansion section can be moved outward from the main section to cause the floor member to lower into its horizontal, expanded, and raised position. The coverage members can be unfolded from the bottom of the floor member and the floor member can be lowered.

Abstract: A table with four chairs can be stored together into a secure, flattened assembly. The four chairs can store under the table such that, when the legs of the table are folded to be adjacent a back side of the table, the folded legs act as a stopper to prevent the chairs from sliding out when moving the table. The foldable chairs can include a foldable backrest and can have support bars between each pair of legs. Abstract: A retractable roof construction can be manufactured in a factory and quickly deployed when assembling the house. The retractable roof can be made in parts and assembled into its compact formation whilst in the factory. This compact formation reduces space occupied in shipment, reducing the overall cost. When the compact formation roof is on a construction site, the roof can expand on both sides and be raised in the middle to provide an angle to protect against the rain.
