Abstract:
Provided are: a photostabilizer masterbatch in which the problems of the occurrence of blocking over time due to the effect of temperature fluctuations in the environment and the difficulty in handling due to the resulting solidification in aggregates are overcome; and a method of producing the same. The photostabilizer masterbatch is obtained by adding and mixing 80 to 300 parts by mass of (B) a hindered amine compound represented by the following Formula (1) with respect to 100 parts by mass of (A) a silica produced by a wet process and subsequently further adding and mixing 5 to 50 parts by mass of (C) a silica produced by a dry process: (wherein, R1 represents a hydrogen atom, a hydroxy group, an alkyl, hydroxyalkyl, alkoxy or hydroxyalkoxy group having 1 to 30 carbon atoms, or an oxy radical; and R2 represents an alkyl group having 1 to 30 carbon atoms, an alkenyl group having 2 to 30 carbon atoms, or a group represented by the following Formula (2)) (wherein, R3 represents the same as R1 in the Formula (1)).
Abstract:
Disclosed is an antioxidant for a thermoplastic resin that provides an excellent oxidation-preventing effect to a thermoplastic resin and that has an excellent effect of preventing a change in color caused by nitrogen oxides. Specifically, a compound represented by any of General Formulae (2) to (4), particularly a compound in which R2 in the formulae is an alkyl group having 1 to 8 carbon atoms whose terminal on an oxygen atom side is linked with —CO—O—, is used as the antioxidant for a thermoplastic resin. Details of General Formulae (2) to (4) are as described in the description.
Abstract:
Provided is a resin additive masterbatch in which a low-melting-point resin additive is masterbatched and blocking is suppressed such that blocking does not occur even when the masterbatch is placed in an environment having large temperature fluctuations. The resin additive masterbatch contains, with respect to 100 parts by mass of (A) a polyolefin resin: 60 to 150 parts by mass of (B) a resin additive having a melting point of 100° C. or lower; 0.01 to 3 parts by mass of (C) an organic acid metal salt; and 0.1 to 5 parts by mass of (D) a fatty acid metal salt.
Abstract:
A light stabilizer composition containing a hindered amine compound obtained by the reaction between a 2,2,6,6-tetramethylpiperidinol and a carbonic ester and having improved handling properties. The composition contains (A) 100 parts by mass of silica having a water content of 2 to 7 wt % impregnated with (B) 10 to 300 parts by mass of a hindered amine compound represented by general formula (1). The composition preferably contains (C) 5 to 500 parts by mass of a benzotriazole light stabilizer represented by general formula (3). The symbols used in formulae (1) and (3) are as defined in the description.
