Abstract:
A speed sensing device for a vehicle comprising a governor means movable proportional to vehicle speed, a lever pivotally mounted on a housing of the device at one end thereof so as to oscillate in response to movement of the governor means, permanent magnet means secured to the other end of the lever and reed switching means secured to the housing and adapted for cooperating with the magnet means being displaced with the lever to thereby sense the vehicle speed.
Abstract:
A digital type brake control system for a vehicle using a hydraulic brake system, wherein the hydraulic brake system of a vehicle is controlled by detecting the rotational state of a wheel of the vehicle to produce a detection output, converting this output into a pulse signal, comparing and calculating the difference between the number of the pulses of this signal counted from any given first instant for a specific period and the number of the pulses counted from an instant other than the first instant for a specific period, determining whether this difference is greater or less than a predetermined reference pulse number, and accordingly, producing a pressure-variation signal thereby to vary the hydraulic pressure in the brake system. All operations are accomplished through the consistent use of only digital signals.
Abstract:
A governing apparatus for a double barrel compound type carburetor including a mechanism to open the primary throttle thereof which comprises a servo device to open the secondary throttle of the carburetor in accordance with venturi vacuum produced at least within the primary induction passage and an external vacuum source communicated therein and to close the secondary throttle by biasing force of a spring installed therein when vehicle speed exceeds a predetermined value, thereby to prevent excessive vehicle speeds.
Abstract:
A device for controlling the speed of a vehicle in which the actual vehicle speed is compared to a reference speed and the speed is controlled until the actual speed is equal to the reference speed. The device includes a feedback circuit for adjusting the reference speed in order to eliminate hunting.
Abstract:
A digital type vehicle brake control system which serves to interrupt the communication of the brake fluid pressure between a master cylinder and the wheel cylinders of the vehicle and to vary the fluid volumes in the system, in which a digital type control is applied throughout the brake control processes from detection of the wheel rotational conditions up to control of the brake fluid pressure.
