摘要: Steering suspension module including a shock absorber strut, a suspension upright, an outer ring of a wheel hub unit attached integrally to a front face of the suspension upright, and a ball joint for articulation with a control arm; wherein the suspension strut consists of a cup-shaped body made entirely of continuous, sheared and bent metal sheet, and the outer ring is provided integral in one piece with, and radially cantilevered from, a steering arm extending transversely cantilevered from the cup-shaped body, on the side of the cup-shaped body; the shock absorber strut is constrained within a first seat of the cup-shaped body and the ball joint is made as an independent unit constrained integrally with a second seat of the cup-shaped body in a position facing the first seat, the ball joint projecting inferiorly cantilevered from the cup-shaped body.

摘要: A steering suspension of a vehicle includes a suspension upright and a mechanical component consisting of a radially outer ring of a wheel hub unit or of a rolling bearing forming part of a wheel hub unit. The outer ring is provided integral in one piece with a flange and a steering arm, extending radially cantilevered from the outer ring and the flange, with which it is also integral in one piece. On the side opposite to the steering arm the flange is integral in one piece with a pair of axially drilled radial lugs, configured to support, in use, a brake caliper.

摘要: A motor-vehicle wheel support unit includes a first base body provided with attachments for connection to arms of a motor-vehicle suspension, and a second body for rotatably supporting a wheel hub, which is separate with respect to the first base body and is secured to the first base body in one of two different selectable mounting positions, which correspond to two different vertical positions, with reference to a condition of use, of an axis of the wheel hub with respect to the first base body. In this manner, a height of the vehicle from the ground can be modified by simply mounting said second body on the first body in one or the other of the two mounting positions. In each of the two mounting positions, the second body is rotated by 180° around an axis parallel to the wheel hub axis with respect to the other mounting position.
