Abstract: Network hardware devices organized in a wireless network. A controller device receives device information about each of a multiple network devices, network congestion at each device, scan data, and a station list from each of the devices. The controller device assigns a channel to each radio of the multiple network devices using the device information, the network congestion data, the scan data, and the station list and outputs a first subset of channel assignments to a first group of the network devices, a second subset of channel assignments to a second group of the network devices, and a third subset of channel assignments to a third group of the network devices.

Abstract: Described are techniques for enabling a computing device, such as a slave device using a Bluetooth Advanced Audio Distribution Protocol (A2DP), to determine times when a master device is likely to be idle, during which communications using an alternate protocol, such as Wi-Fi may be exchanged. The length of a delay period may be determined based in part on counts of successive communications received from a master device. The length of a transmission period for use of the alternate protocol may be determined based in part on lengths of time between sets of communications received from a master device. If no communication is received from the master device for a length of time greater than or equal to the delay period, data may be communicated using the alternate protocol for a length of time less than or equal to the transmission period.

Abstract: A softAP bridge is created to support a mesh network that also works seamlessly with any home Wi-Fi AP routers by using Layer-3 techniques to simulate a Layer-2 bridge. With this softAP bridge, Wi-Fi chipsets with integrated special Wi-Fi MAC Layer-2 mesh network support (e.g., 802.11s), or external gateway hubs, are not required. To accomplish this solution, one of the wireless devices may be designated as a relay device for communicating IPv6 data packets between a home AP router and the remaining wireless devices designated as client devices.
