The device obtains motion data indicating a change in position or orientation of the wireless device. The device determines its pose relative to the remote device. The device accesses a coverage map that associates, for each potential pose for the device with respect to the remote device: an antenna for communicating with the remote device and/or a beam for communicating with the remote device. The device selects a particular antenna and/or a particular beam for communicating with the remote device; and causes transmission or reception of data to or from the remote device by the particular antenna and/or the particular beam.

    摘要: A method for network reselection by a wireless communication device is provided. The wireless communication device can have an established connection to a first network. The method can include measuring a signal strength and a signal-to-noise ratio of the first network. The method can further include determining that the signal strength satisfies a signal strength threshold. The method can additionally include comparing the signal-to-noise ratio to a signal-to-noise ratio threshold. The method can also include disconnecting from the first network and reselecting to a second network in an instance in which the signal-to-noise ratio does not satisfy the signal-to-noise ratio threshold even though the signal strength satisfies the signal strength threshold.

    摘要: A user equipment (UE) configured to connect to a network and operate in a carrier aggregation mode and a single carrier mode performs methods to select optimal component carriers. The methods include determining that a primary component carrier is operating less optimally than a secondary component carrier, sending an indication to the network that the primary component carrier is operating less optimally than the secondary component carrier, acquiring the secondary component carrier as a target primary component carrier and operating with the secondary component carrier as the target primary carrier component. In one exemplary embodiment, the indication is declaring a radio link failure (“RLF”) between the UE and the network. In another exemplary embodiment, the indication is a measurement report send to the network that triggers a handover procedure for the UE.
