Abstract: A method performed by a wireless device operating in an uplink multi-user mode includes: setting an exclusion bit in an operating mode control subfield of a transmit operating mode indicator frame, the exclusion bit indicating an exclusion of an AC or a TID from the uplink multi-user mode; sending, to the AP, a trigger-based physical layer protocol data unit (PPDU) comprising the transmit operating mode indicator frame; contending for channel access using an enhanced distributed channel access (EDCA) function to send the low latency data via an uplink; and transmitting the low latency data to the AP in a single user PPDU in accordance with EDCA-based channel contention.

Abstract: Embodiments of a station (STA) and method for communication in accordance with phase noise compensation are generally described herein. The STA may determine, based at least partly on one or more operational parameters, whether to perform phase noise compensation of data symbols of a received protocol data unit (PDU). For instance, the STA may compare the operational parameters with one or more thresholds. The STA may further determine a method of phase noise compensation based at least partly on one or more operational parameters. As an example, the STA may determine a type of interpolation to be used for an interpolation of phase noise estimates of pilot symbols to determine phase noise estimates of data symbols. Example operational parameters may include a signal quality metric, a carrier frequency offset (CFO) measurement and/or modulation and coding scheme (MCS).

Abstract: Systems, methods, and circuitries are disclosed for determining Precoding Resource Block Groups (PRGs). In one example, a processor of a base station (BS) is configured to determine a plurality of PRGs that includes a number N consecutive Physical Resource Blocks (PRBs) over which a same precoder assignment is used, starting from a reference PRB. The plurality PRGs include a first boundary PRG, a second boundary PRG, and one or more other PRGs. The first boundary PRG is located at an upper boundary of a bandwidth part. The first boundary PRG comprises fewer than N PRBs when the upper boundary of the bandwidth part is not aligned with a PRG boundary. The second boundary PRG comprises fewer than N PRBs when a lower boundary of the bandwidth part is not aligned with a PRG boundary. A downlink data channel is transmitted to a UE in accordance with the precoder assignments.
