Abstract: Described herein is an acoustic building panel comprising: a body comprising a fibrous material and having a first major surface opposite a second major surface and a side surface extending there-between, the fibrous material comprising polyester fiber in an amount of at least 70 wt. % based on the total weight of the fibrous material; wherein the body has a bulk density as measured between the first major surface, the second major surface, and the side surface, the bulk density ranging from about 4.8 lb./ft3 to about 6.0 lb./ft3.

Abstract: A ceiling system is provided for use in a building space. The ceiling system has an open cell grid structure and is attached to a support structure of the building via hanging hardware. The open cell grid structure is constructed of a plurality of bottom panels attached to the hanging hardware, a plurality of middle panels attached to the plurality of bottom panels, and a plurality of top panels attached to the plurality of middle panels. The bottom, middle, and top panels are arranged in a plurality of rows and arranged to ensure that the plurality of panels form an interconnected system capable of being extended to any size desired by a user.

Abstract: A ceiling system is provided for use in a building space. The ceiling system has an open cell grid structure and is attached to a support structure of the building via hanging hardware. The open cell grid structure is constructed of a plurality of first panels attached to the hanging hardware, a plurality of second panels attached to the plurality of first panels, and a plurality of third panels attached to the plurality of second panels. The first, second, and third panels are attached via a plurality of slots which allow secure engagement and utilize gravity to retain them in the assembled condition. Beneficially, the plurality of second panels and the plurality of third panels are free of hanging hardware.
