摘要: An aluminum alloy contains at least 0.03 mass % and at most 1.5 mass % of Mg, at least 0.02 mass % and at most 2.0 mass % of Si, and a remainder composed of Al and an inevitable impurity, a mass ratio Mg/Si being not lower than 0.5 and not higher than 3.5. In a transverse section of the aluminum alloy wire, a rectangular surface-layer void measurement region having a short side of 30 μm long and a long side of 50 μm long is taken from a surface-layer region extending by up to 30 μm in a direction of depth from a surface of the aluminum alloy wire. A total cross-sectional area of voids present in the surface-layer void measurement region is not greater than 2 μm2.

摘要: An aluminum alloy wire is composed of an aluminum alloy. The aluminum alloy contains equal to or more than 0.005 mass % and equal to or less than 2.2 mass % of Fe, and a remainder of Al and an inevitable impurity. In a transverse section of the aluminum alloy wire, a surface-layer crystallization measurement region in a shape of a rectangle having a short side length of 50 μm and a long side length of 75 μm is defined within a surface layer region extending from a surface of the aluminum alloy wire by 50 μm in a depth direction, and an average area of crystallized materials in the surface-layer crystallization measurement region is equal to or more than 0.05 μm2 and equal to or less than 3 μm2.

The wire strand includes a deformed part in which a cross-section of the wire strand intersecting an axial direction of the wire strand is formed into a flat shape in which a width of the cross section is larger than a height of the cross section, and an entire outer periphery of the cross section is formed as an outward curve. In the cross-section of the deformed part, the elemental wires have deformation ratios from a circle of 70% or lower at an outer peripheral part facing the outer periphery of the deformed part than at a center part located inside the outer peripheral part.

摘要: An electric wire conductor having both flexibility and a space-saving property. Also provided are a covered electric wire and a wiring harness containing the electric wire conductor. An electric wire conductor contains a wire strand containing a plurality of elemental wires twisted together. The electric wire conductor has a flat portion in which a cross section intersecting an axial direction of the wire strand has a flat shape. Assuming a conductor cross-sectional area of the flat portion as s mm2 and a vacancy ratio defined as a ratio of vacancies not occupied by the elemental wires in a cross section of the flat portion as v %, the conductor cross-sectional area and the vacancy ratio satisfies v>0.29 s+2.0. The covered electric wire contains electric wire conductor and an insulator covering the conductor. The wiring harness contains the covered electric wire.
