摘要: A controller includes a first input that receives a signal indicating an energy consumption value of a compressor, a second input that receives a signal indicating an energy consumption value of a variable speed condenser fan, a third input that receives a signal indicating an ambient temperature, a fourth input that receives a signal indicating a condenser temperature, an output that provides a control signal to the variable speed condenser fan, a memory that stores a temperature difference set-point, and a processor in communication with the inputs, the output and the memory. The processor calculates a difference between the ambient temperature and the condenser temperature, compares the difference with the temperature difference set-point, controls the variable speed condenser fan based on the comparison, monitors the energy consumption values, and modulates the temperature difference set-point to minimize energy consumption.

摘要: The present disclosure is directed to mounting clamps for selectively mounting a storage accessory to a rod, the mounting clamps including: a first clamp partner having a first body and a first rod-abutting face, a second clamp partner having a second body and a second rod-abutting face, a coupling mechanism for coupling the first clamp partner to the second clamp partner, and a universal connector having a universal connector attachment mechanism, the universal connector being attachable to the first clamp partner via the universal connector attachment mechanism. The first clamp partner and the second clamp partner are configured to be selectively coupled together to retain a rod, each of the first rod-abutting face and the second rod-abutting face making surface-to-surface contact with an outer surface of the rod. Further, at least one accessory device is attachable to the universal connector via a storage accessory attachment mechanism.

摘要: Evacuation slide systems having extendable portions are detailed. The extendable portions of slides may be inflated separately from the main portions and actuated manually if desired. Consequently, attitude changes of, for example, an aircraft subsequent to inflation of the main portion of a slide would not necessarily defeat its use, as inflation of the extendable portion could still occur.

摘要: A razor blade unit for safety razor has optimized shape and dimensions for body shaving, especially the regions of the axillae. The blade unit has an elongate blade with a rectilinear sharpened edge, and a skin contacting surface at which the length is 1 to 4 times the width and not greater than 60 mm, preferably 40 to 45 mm. The skin contacting surface has a footprint area of at least 450 mm2, preferably 600 to 750 mm2, and a circularity which is not less than the lower of (i) 65%, and (ii) the circularity of a rectangle with the same length and width as the skin contacting surface and with corner radii of 30% of the width. In a plane perpendicular to the blade edge the skin contacting surface is convex and shaped to make at least three point contact with an imaginary circumscribing circle with a radius of 15 to 70 mm, preferably 25 mm. Guard cap surfaces in front of and behind the blade edge each have a skin contact area of at least 140 mm2, and their combined area is preferably at least 400 mm2, e.g. 450 to 500 mm2. A preferred shape is rectangular with semi-circular ends.

摘要: This invention relates to apparatus for use in connection with material such as fluxed, woven, copper ribbon, sometimes called "desoldering braid" to capture and removed unwanted, molten solder from electronic components. A preferred embodiment comprises a hand-held desoldering braid gun having a handle in which a supply of desoldering braid may be stored, a finger trigger actuated pincer-type cutter positioned in the mouth of the "barrel" of the gun, a guide conduit for forming a path for desoldering braid coming from the handle through the cutter, and a thumb-actuated drive mechanism for moving desoldering braid to and fro past the cutters. Another embodiment includes a handle to receive a pre-packaged cassette of desoldering braid. Using embodiments of this invention, a length of desoldering braid may be introduced to unwanted solder which has been rendered molten to a liquid state, to capture and remove it from its site, following which the cutter may be actuated to sever off the solder laden length of braid when the solder has hardened. By this means, such operations may be performed with one hand, freeing the other to do collateral operations, such as holding a solder heating source.
