    摘要: A system can include an interface to receive sensed data and economic data; a production control framework that includes a module for modeling motor efficiency of an electric submersible pump, a module for modeling gas composition of a fluid being pumped by an electric submersible pump, a module for modeling solid dynamics in a fluid being pumped by an electric submersible pump, a module to update one or more of the modules for modeling in response to receipt of data via the interface; and an interface to output control commands to a controller for an electric submersible pump based at least in part on data received by the interface and analyzed by the production control framework. The non-metallic armor comprises one or more layers of extruded materials or an external wrapping of materials, selected from the group consisting of extruded thermoplastic materials, extruded thermoset materials, and fiber reinforced composite materials. The non-metallic armor eliminates corrosion problems associated with prior metallic armors, and provides significant weight savings over prior metallic armors.

    摘要: A method of suspending an electric submergible pumping system within a wellbore includes inserting an electric cable within a conduit, such as coiled tubing. One end of the conduit is sealed with one end of the electric cable extending out therefrom. The conduit is filled with a fluid of sufficient volume and sufficient density to float the electric cable within the conduit when the conduit is disposed within a wellbore. An electric submergible pumping system is connected to the conduit, and the electric cable is connected to an electric motor of the electric submergible pumping system. Thereafter, the electric submergible pumping system and the conduit are inserted into the wellbore. Since the cable is floating, i.e., self supporting, within the conduit there is no need for cable anchors or other devices to transfer the weight of the cable to the conduit.
