    摘要: A locomotive (10) is operable in two or more distinct configurations, with the change in configuration being response to a configuration input signal (35). A locomotive configuration is represented by the set of end use device control signals (13) that are generated by the locomotive control systems (22) in response to the respective set of operational input values (27). For a given set of operational input values, a first set of end use device control signals is generated when a configuration input has a first value, and a second set of end use device control signals is generated when a configuration input has a second value. The configuration input variable may be responsive to the locomotive location, a wayside device signal, an operator action or the health of the locomotive, for example. Locomotive configuration changes may include peak horsepower rating, number of engine cylinders fueled, number of throttle notch settings, adhesion limits, mission priorities or emission profile, for example.

    摘要: Visual-inertial tracking of an eyewear device using a rolling shutter camera(s). The eyewear device includes a position determining system. Visual-inertial tracking is implemented by sensing motion of the eyewear device. An initial pose is obtained for a rolling shutter camera and an image of an environment is captured. The image includes feature points captured at a particular capture time. A number of poses for the rolling shutter camera is computed based on the initial pose and sensed movement of the device. The number of computed poses is responsive to the sensed movement of the mobile device. A computed pose is selected for each feature point in the image by matching the particular capture time for the feature point to the particular computed time for the computed pose. The position of the mobile device is determined within the environment using the feature points and the selected computed poses for the feature points.

    摘要: An EMD locomotive engine low oil governor reset system, the governor having a low oil reset plunger which moves from an operating position to a tripped position out of a side of the governor when a low oil condition has been sensed and has initiated shut down of the engine, the governor also providing an electrical signal indicating the plunger has been tripped, the system comprising a solenoid mounted adjacent the governor and having a plunger in alignment with the low oil reset plunger for engaging the plunger in the tripped position and moving it to the operating position when the solenoid is activated, the solenoid being connected to the governor so as to receive the electrical signal therefrom; and a timer associated with the solenoid for delaying activation of the solenoid for a predetermined period of time after receipt of the electrical signal from the governor.

    摘要: A wafer cleaning apparatus provides two opposed brushes for brushing a vertically disposed wafer in a tank which can contain a process liquid. A pressure controller adaptively controls the pressure exerted by the brushes on the wafer to compensate for brush wear. Rim driving wheels engage the wafer periphery with a porous jacket coupled to a fluid delivery system, thereby simultaneously rotating and cleaning the periphery of the wafer. The apparatus includes a fluid delivery system for separately and independently delivering a plurality of constituents of a cleaning solution to the brushes, thereby ensuring that a freshly mixed cleaning solution reaches the wafer. The tank can be filled with a process liquid through which megasonic waves provided by a transducer can propagate and impinge upon the wafer thereby enhancing the cleaning of the wafer or the brushes.

    摘要: A service platform for transport within an area wherein an explosive device is present. A remotely controlled tractor provides the primary motive force for moving the service platform through the explosion-prone area. Because of the danger personnel might experience in entering such an area, the tractor is remotely controlled by a transmitter manned by a person at a remote location. In situations where the explosive device comprises one or more mines hidden in the earth, the mobile support of the tractor will distribute the weight of the tractor over a sufficiently large ground surface area such that mines embedded in the ground will not have their firing circuitry triggered by passage of the tractor above the mine. However, the service platform is equipped with rugged, massive, ground contacting elements which are sufficiently light so as to not trigger the firing mechanism of anti-tank mines, but sufficiently massive to cause the firing of anti-personnel mines. The device is intended for use on pedestrian trails through forests and mountains and will find use in clearing mines from farm lands to be cultivated.

    摘要: Visual-inertial tracking of an eyewear device using a rolling shutter camera(s). The eyewear device includes a position determining system. Visual-inertial tracking is implemented by sensing motion of the eyewear device. An initial pose is obtained for a rolling shutter camera and an image of an environment is captured. The image includes feature points captured at a particular capture time. A number of poses for the rolling shutter camera is computed based on the initial pose and sensed movement of the device. The number of computed poses is responsive to the sensed movement of the mobile device. A computed pose is selected for each feature point in the image by matching the particular capture time for the feature point to the particular computed time for the computed pose. The position of the mobile device is determined within the environment using the feature points and the selected computed poses for the feature points.
