摘要： In order to facilitate connecting work of electrodes in a liquid crystal panel, a liquid crystal panel (2) includes: N pieces of electrodes connected to N pieces of electrodes in a first liquid crystal panel (1); NN (larger than N) pieces of signal lines connected to the N pieces of electrodes; and a signal line selecting circuit (22) which selects every N pieces from the NN pieces of signal lines in a time division manner, and connects the N pieces of signal lines to the N pieces of electrodes, in which N is equal to NN/n (where n is an integer of two or more). In such a way, as compared with the case of providing the electrodes for the signal lines of the second liquid crystal panel (2) correspondingly thereto, the number of electrodes can be reduced to 1/n.

摘要： A liquid crystal display device includes first and second display panels each including scan lines arranged in a row direction, signal lines arranged in a column direction, and pixels arranged in a matrix at intersections of the first scan lines and the first signal lines. The first display panel and the second display panel are set in a non-display mode and in a display mode, respectively. Shift registers and buffer circuits connected to respective groups of scan lines sequentially drive respective group of scan lines in the first display panel during a vertical blanking time of the second display panel. The pixels of the first display panel are driven to refresh by writing an image signal for a black display in the first display panel.

摘要： In one embodiment, first and second driver circuits are arranged interposing a matrix of pixels. A timing control circuit is electrically connected with the first and second driver circuits. The first driver circuit including a first sequential circuit is electrically connected with the odd scanning lines, and supplies scanning signals to the odd signal lines in order. The second driver circuit including a second sequential circuit is electrically connected with the even scanning lines, and supplies the scanning signals to the even scanning lines in order. The timing control circuit generates first and second synchronization signals, and supplies the first synchronization signal to the first driver circuit and the second synchronization signal to the second driver circuit. The first and second driver circuits supply the scanning signals to the scanning lines in order for every line upon receiving the first synchronization signal and the second synchronization signal from the timing control circuit.

摘要： A plasma generator 1 includes a first electrode 12 provided in a gas storage section 5; and a second electrode 13 separated from the first electrode 12 and provided in a manner such that at least the portion coupled with the first electrode 12 is in contact with a liquid 17 in a liquid storage section 4. Electric discharge is caused between the first electrode 12 and the second electrode 13 so as to produce plasma in a gas region in the liquid 17 in the liquid storage section and produce hydroxyl radical from water contained in the liquid 17 and oxygen contained in the gas. A voltage controller 60 controls a voltage applied by a plasma power source 15 depending on conditions.
