    摘要: The present invention improves the magnetization shielding properties of a torque sensor shaft for a magnetostrictive torque sensor. Specifically, according to the present invention, a magnetostrictive torque sensor shaft 2 is provided with a magnetostrictive detection portion 5 and an engaging portion 6 for engaging a power transmission shaft, wherein the torque sensor shaft 2 includes a magnetostrictive material, and is provided with a paramagnetic layer, which contains retained austenite, at a surface of a range that includes at least the engaging portion 6, but excludes the magnetostrictive detection portion 5. Also a method for manufacturing the same is provided.

    摘要: The present invention provides a surface-treating agent to form fine roughness on the surface of a material and more specifically a surface treating-agent which forms fine roughness on the surface of a material and is easy to process, thereby being useful for materials for highly water-repellent glass, lenses and fabric, materials with an excellent anti-soiling property, panels having an excellent light scattering property, illumination of optical fiber and the like, materials and coatings to prevent accumulation and adhesion of snow or icicle formation on antennas, wires and steel towers, and roughness formation on the surface of semiconductor substrates; the treated materials; and a method of surface treatment to develop the roughness. The surface-treating agent of the present invention has an average primary particle diameter in the range of 1-50 nm, contains fine particles in the range of 5-60% by mass of the total amount of the surface-treating agent in a slurry of nanoparticles which are treated for water repellency and mechanically dispersed in a solvent containing a volatile solvent, and forms a roughness structure with upward protrusions having a spatial periodicity of 0.1-50 μm on the surface of a material by volatilizing the solvent or dipping repeatedly in water upon treating the surface of the material.

    摘要: A displacement detecting device includes an irradiation optical system, an interference optical system, a light-receiving section, and a displacement detecting section. The irradiation optical system causes two light-beams to be incident on a diffraction grating respectively at different angles with respect to a plane perpendicular to the X-direction along which grating structures of the diffraction grating are periodically arranged. The interference optical system causes two Mth-order diffracted lights of respective light-beams incident on the diffraction grating to interfere with each other, so as to generate an interference light. The light-receiving section receives the interference light and detects an interference signal. The displacement detecting section detects a vertical displacement of a surface having the diffraction grating arranged thereon based on the change of the interference signal.
