摘要: A motorcycle having a swing-arm front suspension mechanism includes front and rear wheels, an engine disposed between the front and rear wheels and having an engine block, a front wheel steering knuckle disposed on one side of the front wheel and by which an axle of the front wheel is rotatably supported, an upper swing arm having a front end pivotally coupled to the knuckle and a rear end pivotally coupled to an upper portion of the engine block, the upper swing arm extending between the knuckle and the engine block, a lower swing arm having a front end pivotally coupled to the knuckle and at least one rear end pivotally coupled to a lower portion of the engine block, the lower swing arm extending between the knuckle and the engine block, and a damper having an upper end pivotally coupled to the engine block intermediate between two positions where the rear ends of the upper and lower swing arms are pivotally coupled to the engine block, and a lower end pivotally coupled to a base of the lower swing arm. The motorcylce also includes an arm mechanism disposed below the lower swing arm, the lower end of the damper being pivotally coupled by the arm mechanism to the base of the lower swing arm.

摘要: A phosphor for a vacuum ultraviolet excited light emitting device, obtained (1) by adding Eu or Tb as an activating agent to a substrate comprising a compound represented by the general formula M1M2M3O4, wherein M1 represents at least one element selected from Na and Li, M2 represents at least one element selected from Gd and Y, and M3 at least one element selected from Ge and Si; (2) by adding Eu as an activating agent to a substrate comprising a compound containing SrO, Al2O3 and B2O3; or (3) by adding Eu or Tb as an activating agent to a substrate comprising a compound represented by the general formula M2O2CN2, wherein M represents at least one element selected from La, Y and Gd.

摘要: Zinc sulfide phosphor that has high energy efficiency and color purity and that emits blue light is provided. Specifically, a zinc sulfide phosphor adapted for use as a light source or in a display by being applied to powder EL elements is provided. The zinc sulfide blue phosphor comprises copper, silver or both elements and nickel, iron or both elements. The phosphor is obtained by adding a compound comprising copper, silver or both elements, a zinc compound, a sulfidizing agent and a compound comprising nickel, iron or both elements as an aqueous solution to an organic solvent to form a reaction mixture, heating the mixture and removing water from the reaction mixture by azeotropic dehydration of water and the organic solvent to obtain a zinc sulfide phosphor precursor, further sintering the zinc sulfide phosphor precursor.
