摘要： A motorcycle having a swing-arm front suspension mechanism includes front and rear wheels, an engine disposed between the front and rear wheels and having an engine block, a front wheel steering knuckle disposed on one side of the front wheel and by which an axle of the front wheel is rotatably supported, an upper swing arm having a front end pivotally coupled to the knuckle and a rear end pivotally coupled to an upper portion of the engine block, the upper swing arm extending between the knuckle and the engine block, a lower swing arm having a front end pivotally coupled to the knuckle and at least one rear end pivotally coupled to a lower portion of the engine block, the lower swing arm extending between the knuckle and the engine block, and a damper having an upper end pivotally coupled to the engine block intermediate between two positions where the rear ends of the upper and lower swing arms are pivotally coupled to the engine block, and a lower end pivotally coupled to a base of the lower swing arm. The motorcylce also includes an arm mechanism disposed below the lower swing arm, the lower end of the damper being pivotally coupled by the arm mechanism to the base of the lower swing arm.

The lower frame structures are shown to include brackets mounted to the power unit itself, separate loop frame members and an under channel member. Upper frames are shown to be associated with the lower frames. The upper frames do not support the suspension systems but do support motorcycle equipment such a fuel tanks, air cleaners and the like.

摘要： A front suspension for a vehicle having a pair of swing arms and steering arm. The swing arms are mounted to the steering arm in a manner such that savings in weight and material are realized. The swing arms are pivotally mounted forwardly at upper and lower locations on said steering arm and pivotally mounted rearwardly on the vehicle, said forward mounting location of said upper swing arm being outside the circumference of the front wheel and said forward mounting location of said lower swing arm being above and rearward of the front wheel axle, said upper and lower swing arms extending upwardly from said rearward mounting locations. Accordingly, the front wheel can take a wide steering angle and the swing arm does not become too heavy.

摘要： In a built-up wheel having a hub and a wheel body which are connected with each other detachably by fastener means, the hub consists of a bearing cylinder and a wheel support member formed integrally with the bearing cylinder, while the wheel body is provided with a boss which is connected with the wheel support member by the fastener means, the boss being provided with an inner cylindrical portion formed integrally therewith so as to extend in the axial direction thereof for fitting engagement with the outer circumferential portion of the bearing cylinder. 摘要： An object of the present invention is to provide a three-dimensional CAD-system for adding data about a drafting direction of a die to three-dimensional data about the part to be formed by that die, and a cost calculation system for calculating the cost of the part based on that drafting direction data. A three-dimensional model generation unit of a CAD system generates: a three-dimensional shaped model of a given part based on information coming from an input operation unit. A drafting direction data setting unit establishes drafting direction data when the input operation unit is operated to designate the drafting direction of the die for press molding, injection molding or the like of the part in question. A projected area calculation unit calculates a projected area S of the part on a plane perpendicular to the drafting direction of the applicable die on the basis of the three-dimensional model of that part and the drafting direction data involved. A depth calculation unit calculates a depth D of the part in the relevant drafting direction.
