Also in the learning method, fuzzy knowledge data is inputted and displayed, a range of the object of learning is interactively designated from among the displayed fuzzy knowledge, and a learning is made on the basis of a predetermined learning algorithm to change the fuzzy knowledge in the designated range, thereby performing the learning of a fuzzy knowledge with a user's intention reflected.

A fuzzy evaluation and modification system evaluates and modifies the fuzzy knowledge in a fuzzy reasoning system. The fuzzy knowledge includes fuzzy rules, each described in an "if . . . , then . . ." format, and membership functions defining meanings of propositions described in the "if . . . , then" parts. Results of the fuzzy reasoning are monitored and compared with real data of a plurality of real test cases to evaluate the fuzzy knowledge. An influence power of each of the fuzzy rules with respect to the fuzzy reasoning results is attained for all the cases. Superpositional display of real data on the membership functions of the "if . . ." part and reasoning results on the membership functions of the "then . . ." part indicates a relationship between the membership function and the real data. The system includes units for obtaining a grade of rule representing adequacy of the fuzzy rule based on the membership functions associated with the "if" part, attaining defuzzification values of the membership functions related to the "then" part and obtaining differences between the defuzzification values and the real data. A relationship between the grade of rule and the difference thus obtained between the defuzzification values and the real data is outputted to an output unit. The fuzzy knowledge is modified by an operator in association with the output.

A method of localizing a moving body, by which the magnitude of parameters, which can give rise to bias errors, is estimated inversely from the difference between two locations of the moving body estimated by two different localization methods. Various quantities (position of sensors, propagation velocity of radiation, etc.), on the basis of which localization operations are carried out, can be corrected by using the magnitude thus estimated. The emission time of the radiation from the moving body can be estimated by the hyperbolic surface localization method and the spherical surface localization method can utilize the emission time thus estimated to localize the moving body. Further, localization errors caused by both localization methods can be estimated, so that it is possible to determine which localization method should be used to localize the moving body.

An apparatus for determining attitude of a satellite by using a star sensor includes a ground terminal equipped with a data processing unit and star catalogue, a star sensor, an estimating the unit for estimating attitude of the satellite and a decision unit for deciding the attitude determination mode I or II in dependence on attitude stability of the satellite. In the mode I, angles representative of the satellite attitude are estimated by the estimating unit on the basis of a star sub-catalogue prepared by utilizing a priori information. In the mode II, the attitude angles are estimated by the data processing unit through data transaction with the ground terminal without resorting to the use of the priori information.

There is an attitude control method and system for a satellite. This system comprises a star catalogue of the universe, a star sensor and means for calculating features on the surface of the star sensor from a signal detected by the star sensor. The calculated features are compared with a table of which the star catalogue was reconstituted so as to easily search the features, thereby determining the attitude of the satellite.

The customer can decide the securities dealing by using the voice communication line while looking at the same information as that for the dealer/trader.

A real time status monitoring method for inputting randomly varying data relating to a plurality of objects, processing a plurality of functions having some of the data as variables and monitoring an overall status including the objects on a real time basis, and an apparatus therefor are disclosed. A table indicating the presence or absence of data change in the objects and the presence or absence of variables related to the data change in the funtions is prepared. In processing the functions, the table is referenced and only those functions which include the variables related to the data change are processed.
