摘要: A locking electrical adaptor. The adaptor includes a housing with a pair of conductive prongs for carrying an electrical current, and a grounding prong for grounding an electrical connection of the pair of conductive prongs. The grounding prong is comprised of a flexible conductive material, and includes a lip on a portion thereof, such that upon insertion of the adaptor into an electrical outlet, the lip snaps into place behind a ridge of the electrical outlet to secure the adaptor thereto and lock it in place. The adaptor may be unlocked by depressing a button disposed on the housing, which bends the grounding prong and displaces the lip. After the adaptor is unlocked, the adaptor may be removed from the electrical outlet.

摘要: A modular apparatus and method of varying the playability and tonal characteristics of a stringed instrument such as an acoustic or electric guitar which is commonly provided with a body and a fretboard to the instrument's neck. The modular apparatus includes a longitudinal rail, accessible fasteners, intermediary spacer blocks and a plurality of adjustable and removable frets. The rail is configured to connect with the neck of the stringed instrument and to provide a base for the frets. The frets are configured to move as needed within apertures within the rail. The frets are also configured to receive and support the instrument's strings. The frets are selectively adjustable relative to the rail by the user to change the tonal and playability characteristics of the instrument.

摘要: A method of eliminating or at least reducing toilet odor by applying a liquid composition directly to the water contained in a toilet bowl prior to use. The liquid composition contains about 60 to about 70 weight percent diethylene glycol monoethyl ether (CH2OHCH2OCH2CH2OC2H5), the balance being at least additional constituent, such as fragrances and/or stabilizers. The liquid composition reacts with the water so as to roil in the water, forms a sheen on the surface of the water, and reduces toilet odors during and following usage of the toilet bowl.

摘要: A method and system of determining the physical dimensions and configuration of a structure and/or system as a precursor to the design of modifications of the structure and/or system by analyzing hidden objects within the structure and/or system is provided. The method includes accessing the structure and/or system prior to the modification for preparation of the modification; scanning the structure and/or system with an x-ray backscatter unit; collecting data from the x-ray backscatter unit and combining and reconstructing the data into a 2-D, 2-D panoramic and/or 3-D data set; producing surfaces and structures of the hidden objects from the data set; and tying the surfaces and structures of the hidden objects into a pre-existing coordinate system of the structure and/or system creating a 3-D model.

摘要: A flow circuit connector provides the capability to change the flow paths of a product valve in a beverage dispenser. The flow circuit connector includes a first member that connects two unconnected flow paths, and a second member that stops the flow of fluid within the flow paths not being utilized. In a first embodiment, the flow circuit connector allows an operator to select between two diluent flow paths representing either a chilled diluent or a chilled and carbonated diluent. Configuration may be accomplished on location, and is not a permanent rerouting. In a second embodiment, the beverage dispenser further includes an ambient flow circuit and additional flow circuit connector components as required to complete or cap any exposed flow circuits. In a third embodiment, the beverage dispenser includes at least two product flow circuits representing the delivery of ambient product or a conditioned product.

摘要: Methods, systems, and computer-readable media are disclosed for having a primary process spawn a secondary process to create multiple data sets, thereby allowing the primary process to continue performing other tasks or to terminate. The primary and secondary processes can be virtual machines, such as Java Virtual Machines running in a computer system. The primary process gathers the raw data used to create the multiple data sets and stores the data in a serialized object. The primary process also runs a script to spawn a secondary process which accepts the serialized object as input. The serialized object is then deserialized and the raw data is operated on by the secondary process without any interference from the primary process. The primary process, responsible for maintaining a GUI for the user, can perform other tasks or terminate without effecting the secondary process. Thus, a user of the primary process is free to continue using the GUI and perform other tasks while the multiple data sets are created by the secondary process in the background.
