    摘要: Techniques for transmitting data with hybrid automatic retransmission (HARQ) and interference mitigation are described. In one design, a transmitter processes a packet of data in accordance with a rate and sends at least one transmission of the packet to a receiver with HARQ. In one design, the transmitter sends a trigger message to the receiver to trigger the receiver to send a request to reduce interference to interfering station(s). The transmitter may send a first transmission of the packet (i) after the trigger message, e.g., in consecutive frames of a single HARQ interlace, or (ii) along with the trigger message in the same frame. The number of transmissions to send for the packet may be dependent on whether the interfering station(s) reduce interference to the receiver. The packet transmission may terminate early if interference mitigation is successful or may terminate late if interference mitigation is unsuccessful.

    摘要: Systems and methodologies are described that facilitate transmitting beacon symbols of a beacon message such that a sequence of symbols can satisfy a linear constraint over a field where the field elements can be identified with carriers. In this regard, a coding scheme can be applied to a beacon message; the coding scheme can produce a plurality of beacon symbols to transmit on given subcarriers. A receiving device of the beacon symbols can decode a beacon message by receiving less than the total number of symbols in a beacon message and determining the remaining symbol subcarriers based on the linear constraint. Thus, more efficient decoding of beacons is facilitated as well as resolving beacon ambiguity by figuring out which symbols satisfy linear constraints for the symbols, and resolving time and frequency shift by detecting an offset that would result in satisfaction of the linear constraint.

The wireless network includes an access router and a plurality of access terminals connectable to the base station. The method includes determining a number of the access terminals that are connected to the base station, and comparing the number with a threshold. The method further includes determining, based on the comparison between the number of connected access terminals and the threshold, whether to send a dedicated control signal or a shared control signal from the base station, in order indicate which ones of the plurality of access terminals are scheduled to transmit data during a slot.

    摘要: The present disclosure provides systems, methods and devices for selectively adjusting a quality of service QoS of communication between a wireless access point and a UE based on both a value indicative of system resources and closed subscriber group (CSG) subscription data, such that a member has priority access to system resources over a non-member. The systems, methods and devices described herein allow an access point operating in a hybrid mode to discriminate between CSG members and non-members, without having to terminate communication links in order to provide CSG members with particular QoS levels. In some embodiments, non-members can maintain or establish new communication links with lower QoS levels in order to utilize unused and available capacity, thereby increasing the utilization of system resources available through femto nodes operating in a hybrid mode.

In accordance with one feature serving devices may be assigned specific addresses which are interpreted based on the source of the communication, e.g., MAC packet, in which the address is used. Such addresses may be interpreted as being of a different type than other addresses which can be interpreted and/or used without taking into account the identity of the sender. In some embodiments Session Controllers and/or Internet Attachment Points (IAPs) are identified with such addresses. The address value is the same for one or more ATs but is interpreted at an AP receiving such the IAP address based on information corresponding to the AT which sent the packet including the IAP or Session Controller address.

A plurality of files is determined, wherein a file includes an integer number of blocks, and wherein each block includes at least one input symbol.
