摘要： A guide for a mining machine, such as a plough, is constructed from a series of interconnected sections arranged end-to-end and secured with bolts to the mineral face side wall of a conveyor. Each guide section is composed of an L-shaped plate with an upstanding wall engaging on the conveyor side wall and an inclined foot wall supporting the body of the plough. Spacers locating the securing bolts separate upper and lower chain guide passages and a cover plate extends over the mineral face side of the passages. A slot is formed above the foot wall to allow the plough body to be coupled to the chain in the lower passage. The slot is defined at its upper side by channel-like strips assembled to the spacers and these strips have apertures which receive tongues on the cover plate to thereby form a detachable push-in hinge permitting the cover plate to pivot towards the mineral face. The cover plate is detachably secured to the L-shaped plate at its upper end.

摘要： A conveyor for use in mineral mining comprises a plurality of channel sections arranged end-to-end, and a guide disposed on one side of the channel sections for guiding a mining machine. The guide is constituted by a plurality of guide sections joined together by detachable connection means. Each guide section is attached to a respective channel section. The guide is provided with upper and lower channels separated by spacers, the channels receiving and guiding a chain for driving the mining machine. Each guide section is provided with a cover plate which is pivotally attached thereto for movement between a first position, in which it covers the guide channels, and a second position, in which the guide channels are accessible from said one side of the channel section. The detachable connection means associated with each adjacent pair of guide sections is constituted by recesses formed in adjacent spacers of that pair of guide sections, and a connector which mates with the recesses. The recesses are positioned to lie adjacent to the cover plates of that pair of guide sections when said cover plates are in that first position.

摘要： A guide for a mineral winning or loading machine, such as a coal plough, is composed of assemblies secured to the mineral face side of a conveyor. The assemblies have angle plates with upstanding wall portions securable to the side walls of the conveyor and integral foot portions supporting the machine and resting on the floor of the mine working. Spacers separating upper and lower passages for guiding a drive chain are in turn secured to the wall portions of the angle plates and these passages are shielded by cover plates formed with ramp-like inclined guide surfaces for the machine. The cover plates are pivoted to the spacers at their lower regions so that they can be pivoted outwards to allow access to the passages therebehind. The cover plates are locked with releasable devices to the wall portions in their closed position and have recesses accommodating the spacers which have inclined surfaces forming continuations of the guide surfaces of the cover plates.

In a further aspect, the video telephone (TEL) includes a card slot and chip card reader to activate the TEL by reading the VOD call number from the card data. The TEL automatically dials the VOD to establish the switched connection via the digital radio network GSM and/or the integrated services digital network ISDN.

摘要： There is disclosed a presettable tool supporting device for machine tools which permits the tool to be preset in its tool holder away from the machine and then quickly and easily mounted on the machine in an accurately predetermined position, thus eliminating the need for adjusting the tool on the machine. The disclosed tool supporting device generally comprises a tool holder having means for affixing a tool thereto, a base member having attaching means for semi-permanently attaching the base member to a machine tool, locating means preferably in the form of complementary corrugated surfaces engageable with one another when the tool holder is placed in engagement with the base member to locate each with the other along two major axes while permitting relative movement between the two along a third major axis, stop means for locating the tool holder with respect to the base member in a predetermined position along the third axis, and releasable locking means for detachably locking the tool holder to the base member in said predetermined position. Several embodiments are disclosed, including one in which the locking means is accessible from the side and another in which access is from the top, and a further one in which locating and locking is accomplished on a second set of axes in addition to the first set. Alternative stop means and locking means are also disclosed.

The network termination (NT) according to the invention is characterized in that it comprises a switching facility (DET, 1, 2, 3) whereby the interface (a/b, U) on the network side is switchable from an analog one (a/b) to a digital one (U). A subscriber who needs a digital interface, for example because he wants to have two B channels of the ISDN at his free disposal, can release a digital interface (U) or have it released. A subscriber who wants only an analog access can release an analog access or have it released. To accomplish this, the network termination (NT) contains a switch (3) and a detector (DET). The switching between analog access and digital access on the network side can be effected without replacement of the network termination (NT).

摘要： To provide an interactive video service, a system is disclosed comprising a video server (VOD), an integrated services digital network (ISDN), and customer premises equipment (END) with a video telephone (TEL). The video server (VOD) has a memory (MEMO) in which a number of video signals, e.g., newscasts, are stored, as well as a transmitting unit (SEN) and a receiving unit (EMP), by means of which it is connected with the video telephone (TEL) via the integrated services digital network (ISDN). Via the video telephone (TEL), the customer calls the video server (VOD) to establish a switched connection, and selects from among a number of video signals available. By means of a control unit (CTRL) in the video server (VOD), the selected video signal is read from the memory of the video server and transmitted in real time over the switched connection to the video telephone (TEL). The customer can release the connection at any time, whereby the transmission of the video signal is stoppped.

The assemblies have angle plates secured to the side walls and structures formed with spacers separating upper and lower passages for a drive chain. Covers are detachably and pivotably mounted to the structures. The covers can be secured in a closed position covering the upper passage or swung outwardly to an open position on push-in hinge joints formed at their lower regions by interengaging components of the covers and the structures. The hinge joints have complementary projections and recesses which interengage when the covers are closed.

摘要： A conveyor and guide assembly comprises a conveyor and a plough guide attached to one side of the conveyor. The conveyor comprises a plurality of conveyor sections joined end-to-end, and the guide comprises a plurality of guide sections positioned end-to-end. Each guide section is associated with, and extends substantially along, a corresponding conveyor section. The guide section has a generally L-shaped guide plate and a ramp-like cover plate which define therebetween upper and lower chain ducts for receiving a plough drive chain. Each section of the cover plate is curved over at the top towards the guide plate thereby delimiting the upper portion of the upper chain duct. Each adjacent pair of cover plate sections overlap in a first zone which extends over at least the curved-over portions thereof. Each pair of adjacent sections of the guide plate overlap in a second zone which adjoins said first zone. The gap between each pair of adjacent guide plate sections is longitudinally off-set from the corresponding gap between adjacent conveyor sections in a third zone which is adjacent to said second zone.
