To address problems caused by not providing service continuity for LIPA/SIPTO PDN connections, the PDN connection/PDP context created in the HeNB/HNB by the MME/SGSN includes context information related to the UE indicating whether such connection is a LIPA PDN connection PDN connection or not. In addition, each UE may be configured to reconnect or not reconnect to the PDN corresponding to a certain APN or service, depending on how the PDN connection was disconnected by the network.

The present disclosure discloses a method for managing release of a network port of a mobile terminal, and the method includes: during a PPPoE dialup or after completion of the PPPoE dialup, network ports of a current mobile terminal are scanned; it is determined whether scanned idle network ports are released erroneously, it is determined whether restoration of connection is desired for an erroneously released network port, and the restoration of connection is implemented according to conditions of current network connection and the PPPoE dialup when the restoration of connection is desired. The present disclosure further discloses a device for managing release of a network port of a mobile terminal. The method and device make it possible to solve a problem that a network port may be released erroneously after a PPPoE connection is established in the prior art.

A method and an apparatus for wireless link (radio link) control in a wireless communication system supporting dual connectivity is disclosed. The present invention includes: detecting radio link failure (RLF) of a secondary serving cell provided from a secondary base station, separately from detecting RLF of a primary serving cell provided from a master base station; generating a RLF specifier specifying an occurrence of RLF of the secondary serving cell when RLF of the secondary serving cell is detected; and transmitting the RLF specifier to an RRC connected master base station. A wireless link between a terminal and a master base station and a wireless link between a terminal and a secondary base station can be managed individually when a terminal is dually connected to both the master base station and the secondary base station in a network.

The system efficiently allocates ISDN bandwidth on demand by a subscriber. Upon initialization of the subscriber unit, the system establishes a channel and generates the necessary spreading codes to support the highest capacity channel desired by the subscriber unit. Portions of the communication spectrum bandwidth are not reserved until actually required by the subscriber unit. Since the call setup is performed at the beginning of a call from that subscriber unit, including the assignment of spreading codes, a subscriber unit can quickly gain access to the portion of the spectrum that is required to support the particular application.

A method, apparatus and system for automatically reconnecting wireless call(s) to a wireless terminal user when a communications link carrying the call is disconnected. In one illustrative embodiment, the wireless communications system maintains and updates call information associated with the wireless terminal when the communications link between the wireless communications system and the wireless terminal is disconnected. The present invention then automatically determines whether the wireless terminal is available for communications in the wireless communications system. If the wireless terminal is available, then the wireless communications system reestablishes communications between the wireless terminal and all other parties on all calls, and restores the updated call information associated with all calls at the wireless terminal.
