Abstract: Aspects of the present disclosure relate to the sharing of synchronization information corresponding to content among devices in a communication network. An originating device collects synchronization information related to the presentation of content to a user via the originating device. The synchronization information is defined according to reference points related to the presentation of the content to the user via the originating device, including a current state of the presentation of the content and/or additional information obtained during the presentation of the content. Based on detection of a synchronization event, the originating device transmits the collected synchronization information, resulting in the receipt of the synchronization information by one or more receiving devices. Thereafter, the presentation of the content to the user on one of the receiving devices can incorporate the synchronization information collected and transmitted by the originating device.

Abstract: Some examples include testing of software able to render a content item on a display of an electronic device. The testing may include capturing images of rendered portions of a content item and comparing the captured images with previously obtained reference images that have been verified to be correctly rendered. The testing techniques can be applied to conversion software that converts digital content items from one format to another and/or testing of the converted content items themselves. Abstract: Systems and methods for efficiently managing item deliveries are described. In an example, a computer system may identify a first handling sequence of a first item and sequence steps along the handling sequence. The sequence steps may be common to a different handling sequence of a second item. The computer system may determine that the first item should be grouped in a container grouping the second item based on the sequence steps being common. The computer system may generate an identifier and metadata for the container. The identifier may identify the container to handling systems. The metadata may identify the items of the container, a first sequence step to group the first item, and a second sequence step to ungroup the first item. The computer system may distribute the identifier and/or the metadata to the handling systems.
